 I bought a set of Comply tips and tried those instead of the stock tips. HUGE upgrade! I was able to get a great seal and the comfort level shot way up. But Comply tips aren't cheap; the set of 3 pairs costs more than 20% of what I paid for these IEMs, so I'm removing one star there.  Comfort was still not where I wanted it and eventually I realized that the problem was the absolute piece of garbage cable that these came with

This is my second pair of IEMs, and I bought them as more of a backup. I'd read about these having a high value-to-price ratio and being very comfortable, so I went in with extremely high expectations.  Unfortunately my first impressions of these were that they were awful. As compared with my other pair (an older model from Ultimate Ears) I found it to be incredibly difficult to get a proper seal

For this price category (these were purchased for $250, they go on sale at around $200) there are much better options, my top recommendation being the Sennheiser TMW3 wireless earbuds which have the best sound quality of any pair that I've tried so far.  Battery Life: For the size of these earbuds with the attachment that hooks over the ear you'd think they'd have a big battery in them, but they do not with a fair but unimpressive battery life of about 8 hours or 32 total with the case going off of what they say in the product details (though its realistically usually an hour or two less than most products advertise). Something like the TMW3 has 6 hours and is smaller and more comfortable to wear

Let me save you the money. I purchased the MEE M6 Pros about 2 years ago. They don't get heavy use but are used almost each weekend for in-ear monitors on stage. The sound isn't amazing and had some struggle picking up a good range but was good enough to hear the majority of the band and singers

 However, when I came across the Shure's I thought I'd give these a try. I disregarded many reviewers that said the same thing I am about to say - the sound quality of these SE215 is equal to the M6 Pros even after getting comply tips. Seriously. Save the money unless you just want the name brand its not worth the purchase

Save Money - Buy MEE M6 Pros Instead

Maybe by GEN 3 they will figure out how to get a more powerful audio driver and ANC into them. Until then

Great sound, disappointing quality

 I have cheaper headphones that dont involve the uncomfortable fit with noise isolation that approaches this. And I tried every size option in the kit so I don't think this is user error. All in all, I'm a bit disappointmented.

I've owned these for a couple months now and I'm not as thrilled as most people. My main issues are fit and quality of noise isolation (not quality of sound). If you wear glasses with semi thick or thick frames, good luck to you! I almost returned these because trying to comfortably wear them with either pair of my glasses is a total nightmare. I would strongly suggest looking at another pair unless you are a 100% contact wearer or have very thin wire glass frames

The wire on one but not both ear buds pops out by itself. I've had these for one day & it's happened twice so far.  The fit is counterintuitive but doable. Comfortable for one hour, after that the pressure on the outer ear becomes painful

 You have to re-form the wire that goes over the ear each time you put them on and reposition the earbud just right. I haven't succeeded in getting the default foam buds off to try a smaller size because when I tug on them, the foam looks like it's going to rip. I'm sure my techno-savy son can figure it out. That said, it might explain why I don't get the noise-canceling affect

First of all, for the price I thought it would have a decent bass, but the sound is crisp and more trebly. I listen to a lot of music, so that was a disappointment for me. I mean, the sound is nice for speaking and sounds going on in a video, but not so much for music. The earpieces are a hassle to put on and off

Even though another reviewer said these earbuds worked well for a motorcycle rider, I found this to be untrue in my situation. To begin, getting a properly-sized full face helmet onto my head without disrupting the earbuds was a challenge. When I removed the helmet carefully, the earbuds fell out. Audio quality was surprisingly poor when paired to my iphone using Spotify or podcasts as an audio source

Beware!  Not usable on a motorcycle!  (BMW R1200GS motorcycle, Arai full face helmet)

I find these to be just OK. Sound is fine, but heavy on upper mids and treble (also known as lacking bass). I worked through all the tips and found the ones that seal best to bring out as much bass response as possible, but the bass is still underwhelming. Cables are prone to tangling and are microphonic
