Collina Stradas have better drivers than the base black ones, and it matters.  Background: Amateur DJ  Couple things: I've been trying pretty much every 2022 pair of headphones & first off the good: These rock, The highs are clear, the mids are too & the bass (which has separate drivers that are affected by the slider) are dumb stupid fun for the gym. I can't recall the last time I had such a dumb huge smile on my face when working out.  -- BUT & This Is Important

 --  The drivers in the Collina Strada model are blatantly different (better, than the base colors.) I picked up a black pair for my friend off eBay who has more shame than I do and wanted something more subtle at the gym and they sound like garbage. They came shrink wrapped, sealed and new, and they couldn't have had driver decay over time cause the Evos weren't released until this year, 2022. Not sure if we got a defective pair but I ran them around the guys at the studio, and without prompting, they all agreed that the Stradas sounded stellar while the black ones sounded worse than my old JBL Tunes (which to be fair, are quite good

Hey everyone. I've been reading a ton of post on here so thank you, I think y'all have helped me narrow it down to a few but I'm very very new to Bluetooth headphones. I got my first set last month, the Soundcore life notes and there ahhh ok. Sound and fit could be better for $49.99. 

#1 Question: thoughts on refurbished headphones from best buy when buying the best buy warranty as well?

Here's my list of things I think he would want in the head phones:
*Comes in the color black, red or blue
*Ability to purchase extended warranty
*Noise cancellation
*Maybe a compatible shock proof case(most have one on Amazon)
*Bass 
*Companion app
*Stays secure in your ear
*Obviously not a these choices will be available on one pair

Need helping chosing a set for husband for Valentine's day under $150 pretty new to Bluetooth

 Music is meant to be listened to not rocket launched. That being said. PRO'S : synced easily to my iphone-- something Skullcandy earbuds didn't really do for me. These have buttons that aren't confusing and have depth

 There is noticeable quality. I can hear subtle, background notes in music that create a surround sound feel. Watching a movie with these feels more immersive. Good stuff

.. CON'S: As an average consumer with little interest in investing money into expensive headphones I don't see the appeal in these at this price point. Cut the price tag by 1/4 or 1/2 and that's the true value for me if you take away Bass effect

 That's what kind of music comes out of these, like my ears are itching right now. It's like, you know that, that mmm, you got to frown up your face like you smell some stank stuff. You know what I mean? It's like, mmm, oh, it makes my ears tickle. Oh, oh, oh, god, yes, thought of it! Oh my god, shit, oh my god, do you hear this? It's rattling the table

 If a plane really does bother you or a subway does bother you at lower volumes, of course, you're going to want some ANC, but just crank up the bass a little bit. The bass will cancel out all the noise, I swear to you. You mark my words, the bass will cancel out all of the noise. Yeah, man, this is the great overall headphone experience, man

 They got an app in here, and they do have different EQ modes. They got the swivel in, they got a premium build. I'm going to call this a premium build because this feels solid, man. I'm going to do my Jim's review room stuff right here, so shout out to Jim, man, wherever you are

 I mark my words, man. You will absolutely love the experience you get with these, hands down. If you're thinking about it, just pull your wallet out and throw it at the computer screen because you just buy the headphones. They're that good

Man, this is tempting. I _just_ ordered some Skullcandy Crusher EVOs, and these were my runner up choice. Now, at the same price it's a much harder decision. I'm sure these will have the better quality sound, but they won't have the big stupid rumbly bass for games and trap music

[Headphones] Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Canceling Over-Ear Headphones Certified Refurbished - $149.99

 So they're adequate from that point of view. Now the bass, is where these really shine. I never thought I'd find headphones that had TOO MUCH bass, but these headphones can get there. These headphones produce surprisingly solid and deep bass

I thought the vibration effect was going to be a gimmick that I would just turn off, but unlike other Skullcandy earphones, this effect works. Even with the bass adjustment slider at only 20%, music has a very full, solid bottom end

The only headphones I've ever found with a lot of bass.

 But what really makes these headphones feel amazing is that they're using multiple materials here. Now the majority of these headphones has a soft touch feel to them. When you extend their headband there's a tactile click, the outer portion of the headband has a hit of Alcantara and underneath the headband there's padded silico. And then when we get to the ear pads themselves… this laverette feels amazing

 And there are plenty of other headphones out there in this price range that have active noise cancelation and or an ambient mode making them more versatile and the better long term investment. However, the Crusher Evo's do have tile support which is a little rare and it could always come in handy if you were to ever lose your bag either while you were commuting or around school. But personally I would much rather have active noise cancelation and or an ambient mode on my headphones rather than tile support. And when it comes to the microphone on these headphones for phone calls… its not the best

 And even if you were to take phone calls with these headphones in a quiet room… its still not the best cause there's this white noise in the background. So with all that being said, the Skullcandy Crusher Evo are a pair of super fun headphones to use. The bass on these headphones is like nothing else out there and build quality wise… these are perhaps the best built headphones Skullcandy has ever made and they come included with a high quality carrying pouch. But I wouldn't recommend that you get these headphones as your daily drivers

 So if you're a basser and you think you can handle all of this bass lets check out the Skullcandy Crusher EVO's. Now when it comes to price, the Crusher EVO's have a retail price of $200 which is not bad especially if you plan on picking these up as a pair of secondary headphones. And now even though the Crusher EVO's are a lot of fun I wouldn't recommend them as daily drivers just like how I wouldn't recommend the Crusher ANC's as a pair of daily driver headphones either. But for comparison the Crusher ANC's have a retail price of $320 so I feel the Crusher EVO's are a lot easier to justify
