I say if you try the Sleep Number and already know you like it, go for it. I really like the concept, but you just have to spend a lot to make it not feel like a bouncy air mattress. But for the kind of money you are putting towards it, I think it would be a great option.

Your head isn’t heavy enough to make much of a dent in the mattress so the pillow is much too plush. I wound up with a memory foam one that’s contoured to cradle your head if that makes any sense? Much better for this mattress IMO. That pillow oddly enough was a sleep number pillow.
