 I got myself a couple Sigma lenses to get the look I want. They give me a very sharp image with nice bokeh. I do have the kit lens as well which is not too shabby. I'll do a comparison video between the lenses on the other channel in case you are curious what the difference is

 The autofocus, the flippy screen, the prices and options of the lenses, it's a great and safe ecosystem to invest in plus because it's so good it's easy to sell quickly if you ever need to. I feel very confident recommending it at the price point especially buying it used. The only person I wouldn't recommend it to is someone who wants to take action video with it using it while skiing or biking or driving type of thing or someone who wants to vlog while walking all the time without a gimbal. The color is great out of the camera and it has picture profiles so you can really deep dive into color grading if you want to change the look of your shots post-production

 Here's what's good about the Sony a6400. The camera shoots crispy 4k no problem. It crops a bit at 30 frames per second but for me I prefer the smoothness of the faster frame rate and I can still get the shot I want in this sized space. If you shoot at 24 frames per second you'll get a little more space in your shot

Sony a6400 Review - For The Price THIS Little Camera Is Hard To Beat!

 Both tracking autofocus and animal eye autofocus are useful tools for someone who does wildlife photography like myself. This is a big reason I upgraded from the a6000. Unfortunately Sony has chosen to NOT allow these two features to work together. Tracking autofocus modes work just fine in Human Eye autofocus, but are disabled when animal eye autofocus is selected

I really want to love it, but I’m currently frustrated by arbitrary limitations of the autofocus system. First what I like: picture quality is better than my a6000, especially at higher ISO. Build quality is more sturdy. Tracking autofocus is also much better than a6000

Good but disappointing. Can’t use tracking with Animal Eye Autofocus.

 But my biggest takeaway in this whole experience has actually really been trusting the real-time tracking, letting the face detect and eye autofocus transition seamlessly, and I was not disappointed. This system worked really well and it gave me my highest success rates to date. This is by no means a miraculous system. I mean, of course, it's not perfect, but this is what it really comes down to

 It replaces the lock-on autofocus, and it promises to do a pretty good job in video. So throughout this whole thing, Jordan is going to be using the tracking autofocus. I have no idea if it's doing a good job or not. But if it doesn't, give it a little bit of leeway, because this is, again, beta

 The price point is acceptable, and you are getting the best autofocusing I've seen on an APS-C camera. So if you have an A6300 or 6500, do you need to rush out and upgrade for this tech? No, definitely not. I mean, we're getting the same image quality. It's still the same battery life and the W batteries

Great camera, the lens is junk

  On its own, I feel like this is a great travel camera. I can fit the 18-135mm zoom, 35mm prime, and 10-18mm zoom in a very small bag and carry them all day with ease on a hike or through a crowded city. The image quality is quite good without the bulk and weight of a larger camera.  There are only a few downsides to this device

Sony only included a slow UHS-I card slot, and the camera takes FOREVER to clear its buffer

A Great Upgrade from the A6000

 All in all it takes great pictures.  One thing I dearly hoped for was that the camera would seamlessly integrate with my iPhone and iPad. I had stopped using my prior digital camera because it was a pain to go on vacation and have to wait to get home to see the pictures. My thought was that the WiFi and BlueTooth interfaces plus the Sony app would do the trick
