Yeah, you can probably say the same thing about the Beats Fit Pro, but that's what my gut says, so I gotta say it.

The next one I would eliminate is the Sony LinkBuds S. The sound isn't anything particularly exciting for me.

The Sony LinkBuds S are what the original LinkBuds should have been, with strong audio performance, above-average active noise cancellation, and a more consistent fit. Their battery life isn't bad, but for the price you can do better. The aforementioned Jabra Elite 7 Pro and Jabra Elite 7 Active, for instance, both offer comparable audio performance and above-average ANC in a fully waterproof build with longer battery life for a similar price

Had a number of earbuds over the years but started to prefer the open type to allow ambient sounds for work etc, listening to the likes of podcasts. Have Airpod Max for over-ear noise cancellation when I need it. Picked up the galaxy bud live a few months ago and they are awesome. Fit the bill and I'm tempted to pick up the Sony Linkbuds for the same reason, them seem to have the low profile, open style.

So far in my time reviewing the earbuds, those numbers seem on the mark, and I don’t think you could reasonably expect much more given their size and weight. As with the rest of Sony’s line, they’re rated IPX4 for water resistance, making them suitable for exercise. The LinkBuds S are perhaps the most comfortable earbuds that Sony has ever made, but they don’t come cheap

I was skeptical about Bluetooth technology when it come to Sound, but after i tried the Sony bulk, i was blown away! The Sound is warm and rich with their punchy bass and crisp mid. I personally used them only for listening to music, and sometimes use the ANC( but i struggle with a good fit). The new Sony Linkbuds S is now the same price of the Sony Wf1000xm4, and while i doubt they are the new"XM4".
