The Soundpeats are better sounding overall, with the best balanced sound out of the 3. Great sound separation and soundstage, due to it's dual drivers. The Bomaker's have a little bit more bass than the Soundpeats, but overall sound quality is a bit muffled.

 Hold the single button on the case to enable pairing. From the laptop or phone you want to use, select the ear pods and they will pair. Very simple, although I noticed when switch from phone to laptop, I had to re-pair. Not sure if it's quirky macbook behavior or not

I absolutely loved my first gen AirPods. Great, "open ear" fit with decent battery and sound quality. As I try to get out of the apple eco-system I've started looking for an android alternative, and these aren't quite it for me.  Sound Quality They actually sound nice, which I was surprised for given the cost

 A slightly deeper bass, but nothing overbearing like Beats. Although I have no real way to measure this, they are slightly louder than AirPods as well, maybe 10-20%? In the sound quality department, I was very satisfied.  Fit This was the main thing I was looking for, and overall the product satisfies. They are slightly bigger than AirPods, but more or less achieve the same type of fit

 As a multi-device, tablet to phone to laptop, I'm gonna keep looking for something else. I'm hopeful that a true AirPod replacement is out there, these just miss the mark with the wonky controls.

  Note about latency- despite the L and R buds not being perfectly in sync the actual delay is not horrible. Even without gaming mode engaged the latency isn't enough to be a huge issue in the games I played. In either mode the shifting stereo image will make it impossible to reliably tell which direction a sound is coming from however. Again, great features, just not the best quality and I can't get past the unaligned timing between left and right signals

 I'd expect the 2 buds to be in sync even at their "Low" price point. Durability- the case lid feels very flimsy and already feels a bit loose. I don't trust keeping it in my pocket. Though otherwise, the buds feel secure in their charging docks with a satisfying magnetic pull and secure fit

 Controls- pretty intuitive, though it's easy to hang up a call while putting them in your ears Fit- stay in my ears fine, haven't fallen out, aren't noticably uncomfortable. Sound surprisingly full for a design that doesn't seal into your ear canal. Calling- can usually have a conversation in the car without problems with voice calling, though I've had enough complaints that I'm disappointed as this was my main determining factor for this purchase.  Cons: Calling- voice quality is hit or miss

I'd go with the Soundpeats Air 3. I've had a pair of JBL Tune 215BTs since last fall which I always found to be quite muddy, but after recently switching my wired earbuds to Apple Earpods  I decided to search for a better sounding pair of Bluetooth buds.

I'm looking for a non-in ear (IEM?) earphones to use with my phone. Needs to be wireless as my phone doesnt have an audio jack. I have a pair of over ear headphones, but would like something smaller.

Any suggestions for wireless, non-in ear earphones?

Pros: I'm very happy with the sound. They fit well. They connect quickly. They look good

  Cons: The battert life is poor (only up to 5 hrs playback). The case is awful. The stems have to slide in vertically to charge. It's always better when buds can lay flat in the case imho

Mostly in-ear headphones, as they are the easiest to clean (they inherently get the least dirty already).

SoundPEATS Bluetooth Earphones. 

As someone who is really into both weightlifting (I've been in the gym for a decade now, see my recent submission on Progress Pics) and headphones (see flair), I don't intermingle the hobbies. 

When I am lifting or doing cardio, my needs in a headphone are five-fold: (1) long battery life so that I don't lose power during a workout if I forget to charge one night; (2) accessible controls so that I do not need to fiddle with my phone to pause/play/switch tracks/adjust volume; (3) a comfortable and snug fit, so that my ears don't hurt and I do not need to adjust my headphones once during the workout; (4) wireless connection so that I can leave my phone in my pocket or across the room; and (5) water/sweat resistance. 

 Sound quality, though valuable to me in other contexts where I am engaged in dedicated listening, is very very low on my list of considerations for a gym headphone.  When I am at home with my LCD and DAC/Amp stack, I am generally listening closely to my music, paying attention to the subtleties. Even when I'm passively listening, I expect and enjoy an accurate playback of the tracks I'm listening to. When I am exercising, my attention is on my exercise. Rather than listening to my usual musical tastes (indie, dreampop, classic rock, psych rock, etc.), my exercise music is very narrowly limited to upbeat Electronic music. I want a constant, loud, punchy beat to keep me lifting for my full one to two-hour workout. I am not examining the music for subtlety - I want volume, bass, treble that isn't grating, and that is about it. 

The SoundPeats are a relatively cheap pair of headphones. The sound quality is *okay*. Nothing to brag about, but not so god awful that I simply cannot listen to them. The battery life is solid, they are easy to charge, the controls are simple and accessible, they are relatively durable (my current pair has lasted over a year), the bluetooth connection is strong, and due to the low price I can afford to buy a backup pair in case my current pair breaks for some reason. 

As an aside: I don't like true wireless earbuds for exercise because the risk of losing one bud is higher than with just walking around the city. However, I totally get that many people find the wire on a wireless pair of headphones to be annoying - trust your gut on this.

Audio Technica IM70 I got many years ago before I got seriously into the hobby. Now paired with an ES100 for not being tethered to my phone. 

I was amazed by them back then, now they are just ok. Decent sound with EQ and good isolation without being too good. Perfect for the treadmill and weight machines.... wish I could go back to the gym since I lost all my gains and gained back a ton of weight sitting around in quarantine eating and drinking.

Have a JBL UA Train on ear set on order now because I found them for cheap. Sometimes I don't like the pounding from foot contact when I wear iems during exercise. The JBLs have washable pads and have pretty good reviews as a dedicated exercise choice.

 Almost as if you've got a piece of fabric between the earbud and your ear that is dulling the sound quality. Bottom line, stick with the TrueAir 2's. They will blow you away I promise. Sadly, I'll be returning these

  These earbuds, the Air3, are the next iteration/sequel to the TrueAir 2. They're smaller, they have a slightly larger driver, and they have aptx adaptive support. But here's the problem. THEY DON'T SOUND AS GOOD

Not As Good As the Model It Is Replacing....

The Air3 are good and probably sound slightly better but it's more down to the fit- they don't need to artificially enhance the bass in order to avoid sounding tinny because of the positioning of the drivers. The 1More Comfobuds 2 and Buds Live on the other hand do, but at least with the Buds Live you can either tilt them in closer or twist them upright and you can adjust how it sounds accordingly.

Just curious what people's experiences have been. I've always never been able to stand in ear designs. I love the original ipod style where I can just easily put them on in a second and not have to worry about fitting. Is this the case with the buds live or do they require fitting and fidgeting.

Opinions on Galaxy buds live from people who dislike inner ear buds?

 The _only_ real negative I would mention is the physical feel - I upgraded from another pair of SoundPeats that had rubber nubs for a good, comfortable feel - this pair is pure hard plastic and for me wearing more than five minutes causes pain. This is entirely an experience that's going to be specific to the customer - for me, it's not a good fit and I'll be purchasing a different pair. If you're used to hard plastic buds this might not be an issue for you. Just fair warning

Battery life was great, sound quality is clear, pairing was a breeze and while the physical touch is a bit "touchy" (putting in ears or taking out, or in/out of case can cause apps to launch or audio to change).  Overall, not a bad pair of buds for the price.
