Bulk in the back so you actively use all your fingers for grip, no finger cuts so you can grip however you like, and it's just clean. Ooh, and judging by the third picture - can it be front flipped? I also like that recessed flipper tab like the way the Spyderco Smock does it.

Spyderco Para 3 Maxamet: Recently traded my Benchmade Tengu for this knife and must say it was worth the trade, good little knife with some snazzy gray scales. Custom Spyderco Smock: By far my favorite knife in my collection.

I've only handled the Smock, but if you like the design it's very fun and well made. Spyderco Spydiechef is another winner, although slightly over your budget.
