 I can tell it's brand-new and I thought if it's, if it's not been heavily used, it's a counterfeit. It'S got to be so. I took a picture of the box and took a picture of the knife itself sort of like sort of like this right. Here I tried to get it where you could actually see the the marking, on the blade

 This is a knife I just picked up literally a few hours ago. I didn't know much about this model and when I found it, I was pretty curious. As to how long it's been around and and how popular it was, I sort of went to YouTube right away to see those who had this knife what they had to say about it and whether or not I should go ahead and pick one up, whether or Not I'd be happy with it, and I've got to say just in a few hours. I'Ve had it

 Yet I bought it on my lunch break today in the town I work in and as soon as I bought it stuck it in my back pocket clipped it to the back pocket and carried it around for the remainder of the work day and then got home. Did a quick polish on it? What you can't even really tell anymore, because I've been fidgeting with it so much and then thought I'd do that they go here for you guys, so just really really so far! My impressions are, I really like this knife. It'S very thin, it's extremely thin, and that is one of the most attractive aspects for me on a knife. If it's really thin and lightweight that gets me really pumped okay, I don't like a big chunky knife

 I'm purposely not mentioning the brand of the clip because you can find it yourself with a little searching (I am NOT affiliated with any after-market company). Of course, I hated spending even MORE money on an already (over) pricey blade. But what was I to do? Wait till I LOST the knife for good? It was going to happen.

 And for $100, the action is only on par with a gas station folder. But the blade is other-worldly sharp and beautifully designed. I would only have added a finger coil, if it were up to me. I suppose I'll keep this one, but with a lot less joy than I was hoping for

This is my brutally honest assessment of this $100 knife: $95 H1 blade; $3 handle; $2 construction. You decide if it's worth it. For VERY light-duty use, it's probably fine. But this Salt 2 slicer should have absolutely been designed with liners for blade rigidity and handle/pivot strength; as it is, the blade flexes and torques noticeably side to side

 I mean eventually, this will cut it right, but it's just not going to cut it that well, whereas, like throw this on, it's done right. That'S just it's such a difference, so i'm not a big fan of dive knives. The classic is the gerber river shorty and it cuts it cuts real, pretty well. It'Ll, probably cut this in one or two pulls by me

 So, first of all, it's a spyderco spyderco makes great knives to make make a good variety of knives. This is high quality steel. This knife is two ounces uh. Compared to my my trusty gerber, easy out rescue knife, which is three ounces, so it's a little lighter

 Knife will still function properly and I will try my best to sharpen so that tip is back.

 What hurts is that the blade tip on this knife has been impacted by something that made it slightly rounded and there are small scrape/scratches along the tip sides. Very disappointing for a new knife. I also have a Matriarch 2 that has not been used yet. Both knife blades are similar in bade type, not metal or length and when compared side to side at the tip, the Matriarch 2 is much pointer, as it should be

 Claw blade is nice in some situations (fishing!! Etc.) but maybe not in others. If they made the grip a little larger and had steel liners I’d give it 5 stars, but I doubt I’ll be breaking the handle anytime soon. Really like the higher-end spyderco lines (made in Japan or USA)!

Great Knife, A few Tweaks would = 5 stars

Very light but very durable. Easy to grip. The belt/pocket clip can be seated in any of the 4 possible orientations. The finger for opening the blade is large which makes it easy to use even if your other hand is in use

 Plus, knives are tools and are meant for use and wear. Don’t worry if the finish isn’t perfect, who would want that anyway?! 😁  For the money, these are seriously great knives that are durable and solid. They will last years for sure! Also, this steel is not only rustproof, it is tough and will work harden. By tough, I mean the blade won’t chip easily and it can be torqued or twisted some without fear of breakage - not that I’d ever suggest doing that! But if you hit a staple or rock or nail by accident, it’s less likely to chip or experience serious damage
