With a whopping 48-ounce capacity, the Stanley Classic Vacuum Insulated French Press easily creamed the competition and earned the designation as the leading large capacity press. How much bigger is it? Where standard-sized units are limited to about three mugs of joe, the Stanley filled four with some to spare for top-offs and warm-ups. Speaking of top-offs, this coffee maker's all-metal construction is the proverbial cherry on the cake as it is durable and dishwasher safe. Given the plus-size carafe and the built-to-last design, we believe this unit's performance more than justifies its relatively high cost.
Although there is much to praise the Stanley press for, it is certainly not without its shortcomings. For example, its lid fits somewhat loosely, allowing the plunger to wobble when pressed down. We were also less than impressed with the spout design as it did little to rein in the discharge rate. While these concerns could easily be overlooked, the relatively poor filtration provided by the double filters is stuck in our craw. Still, the Stanley leads the pack if you need a high-volume pressing capacity. And, with a carafe that size, one can spare a little coffee in the bottom to hold the dregs.

 We preheated the interior of the press using the hot water and we're now adding the grounds. Once our pot of water is up to the optimal temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit, we'll add it to the press to begin the brewing process. Be sure to stop adding the water below the spot where the cannister flares out. If you feel the press above that line, the grounds will go around the filter as you push it down, resulting in grounds in your coffee

 I Think it's time we go ahead and put this thing to test. We're using around 75 grams of whole bean Conant classic coffee and we're grinding it medium coarse. We preheated the interior of the press using the hot water and we're now adding the grounds. Once our pot of water is up to the optimal temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit, we'll add it to the press to begin the brewing process

 Now we got it this way for our water to boil and we'll make some coffee. Two important things when you do this process. First of all, you don't want your water to be super boiling. You want it to be hot

 You're gonna take your press okay, just very gently push it through. Take your time now. I'm gonna add my heavy cream, which is the way. I Like my coffee, we're gonna give it a taste, put our top on, and let's talk a little bit about this coffee press

 As the name implies, it says, it will keep hot things hot for four hours, cold things cold for five hours. And if you iced things in here, the ice will stay for 20 hours. It holds 16 ounces. It's 18/8 stainless steel so it's very well made

 First of all, you don't want your water to be super boiling. You want it to be hot. almost to the point of bowling, but you can't scold the coffee. I mean give it a little bit of a bitter taste
