 Stay all day last 12 hours like how long is like that is crazy. It is coming off and that is a quality that I feel like those inexpensive eyeliners don't do. Like they'll actually stay in place and you can rub your finger against it and nothing will budge. but in this case it is literally coming off

 I mean also it's like too intense for me. I feel like it closes my eye kind of. but on other people I do like that smoked out black eyeliner and it looks pretty cool being on the water line as well. For those of you who are interested in buying this eyeliner, BE AWARE of the eyeliner's poor twist up ability. More than likely (50% of the time), the eyeliner's twist up segment will be broken, meaning that no matter how much you twist, the eyeliner will not come up. I recently bought mine in Lionfinish, and I'm sure it has really good lasting power and smudge proof ability because I tried it on my hand. However, after I had twisted up the eyeliner, it just wouldn't go back down into the tube, no matter how much I twisted it, because it was broken! I ended up wasting about half an inch of product, so I returned it and got money back

 (whew) After that, I went to Ulta, and tried the same eyeliners there, and most of the stila eyeliners had the SAME problem with the twist up ability. Once you advance the eyeliner, there is about 50% chance that you will NOT be able to bring it back down. SO, if you do love this product and buy it, I ADVISE you to ONLY advance the eyeliner a little at a time (how much you plan to use) and NOT bring it up more than you need. This is just my opinion; your eyeliner might be perfectly fine, but I've already tried at least 4 of the stila's eyeliners

So. This Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner by Stila is ALMOST everything that I want in an eyeliner. It goes on smooth, it stays on, after a week of having and using it there is no drying out of the product or constant sharpening because of the product that is exposed doesnt transfer as well.

Eh, I give this product 3.5 stars.  The brown color, however, is very pretty, just the right amount of warmth for my olive skin and the shimmer is perfect. I just wish it would stay on!

I am pretty loyal to Stila products, but I'm dissapointed with this eyeliner. It is *gone* by the end of my work day. I am not one to bring a bunch of makeup to work with me so I like staying power. Also, you have to twist this thing like crazy to get more out

Not related to my rating: I do want to note that Amazon's swatches are not correctly matched to the color names. For example, Gilded is a sparkly gold, not the greenish color Amazon shows it as

I bought the Gilded and I like it very much. I'm going to try the Stingray next as a replacement for my UD pencil eyeliner, as I've heard the Stila is easier to apply. I tried cleaning the lens and putting it back in my eye, but every time it would pick up more eyeliner and blur my vision again after a few minutes. Disappointed enough to write a review

Normally I LOVE this eyeliner and buy it directly from Ulta. This time I figured I’d try Amazon to save on shipping cost, I will not buy it from here again. Usually this eyeliner is soft and glides on super easily and last all day, sometimes overnight, no issues. The one I got from Amazon is super hard and I really have to push to get it to go on and I am lucky if it last through the majority of the day
