 The best I was able to do before this mattress was a Tuft & Needle memory foam mattress with a Sealy mattress topper on top. This Tempur-pedic is, so far, a bit better than that setup. I'm sort of at this in-between, "getting used to a new mattress" time but I still have to give the mattress four stars because I no longer wake up with sore knees and hips when laying on my side for long periods of time.  I will be back to update after a few more weeks with this mattress

 At first, I thought it was going to be too firm, but once you are in it for a bit, it starts to give more and is softer.  My back is usually uncomfortable in bed. I haven't slept this good in years

Soooooo  - we noticed that fully pumped up, with the topper, this mattress is a LOT more comfortable that our old mattress we paid $2000 for 12 years ago. OK, that bed was worn out. However, we are finding this bed to be extremely comfortable, and we both have back issues.

  But, for now, we love this mattress. My husband is no longer sore after a night of sleep. The cooling feature is helpful for me, because I get hot when I sleep, no matter the room temperature or blanket variables. We are using this on a platform bed (meaning no box springs) and that is working well

So Far, So Good

Just left the Mattress Firm store, I'm going to get a Tempur Pedic proadapt medium,  out the door its going to be $3710.34,  mattress msrp is $3699 but there is a little discount for Presidents Day and I'm getting some 'free' accessories,  overall I'm very excited. I've had a shity mattress for a long time and my sleep has not been great, as well as I'm starting to have back pain.

A Nice Place to Sleep After A Long Week

is the poly-foam completely unnecessary? I put it there simply to protect the latex layer. If I go the 36ILD dunlop support that really close to the 35ILD talalay, at that point does that even make sense? probably not.
