I find that it is a great entry-level bike for beginner rider! :) Easy to handle with its 20 inch wheels. Can’t compare with Zizzo Liberte as I’ve not heard of it before (hehe). Tern is a reputable brand.

About the price: if I am not mistaken it’s about £700 new, you might find a good price on the second-hand market but be prepared to wait for an interesting deal. Cycle shops also recommend the Link C8 for beginners.

Tern Link D8 - used ($457/£330) - 20". 4. Btwin - Decathlon brand - used for $277/£200 or new for £346/£250 - 20". I've also seen the Dahon K3 with 16" or 14" wheel size (14 might be too small) and the Dahon Curve 16".

I would say as nice as the Dahon Mariner D8 or Tern Link C8 is worth the extra for your use but their cheaper models closer to $500 will still do the job. I suggested those though because they come with rear rack already (although you can add rear rack for their other models), and I like the quality of the 8 speed drivetrain and hubs compared to their cheaper offerings.
