I'm looking for a new laptop, similar to the Microsoft surface pro but with better battery life.

I don't care about display resolution the camera or graphics as this will be simply a machine for getting work done, editing documents and such but I really do need good battery life, and after Microsoft stop making the power covers, I can't see myself going back to the surface any time soon.

Preferably, I'd like a device with a battery in the tablet portion and in the keyboard as well, so dual batteries.

 You'll need a screen protector that is not included. Most people use Photodon brand. - Battery life is very short, it is the worse I've seen. It lasts a little over 4 hours for drawing

Things you need to know before buying it.

The keyboard of my first ThinkPad, the R60, was probably the best one I have used in terms of typing feel.

A close second in terms of just how good the keyboard felt was the original ThinkPad X1 (2011) - that was a special one.
