 So about halfway down the bag, what i have inside of here is i've, got just my laptop a little keyboard and roost stand, so i'm able to fit all those uh kind of electronics. I'M just going to set them behind me here. All those electronics can fit into this compartment quite easily. Now this pocket is very padded, as you can see, it's kind of got the stitched reinforcement - and this is you know - pretty dense foam like it's very thick thick from here to here

So there's a lot of padding, but one thing this laptop compartment, um isn't doing. The best on is a false bottom, there's a little bit of suspension here at the bottom, but not a ton

 Just checking real quick, it's very tight with another laptop in there in the back, but yeah pretty much just a big main compartment there, and then this back part is great because it holds up to a 17-inch laptop. So those durable ykk zippers opens up like horseshoe.  So, if you're going to be riding your bike or something like that at night, it gives you a little bit of extra visibility. I like on this bag. It has more of a professional vibe, and you can see here that we have the compression straps down here at the bottom. So that's going to make the bag smaller, make it a little skinnier and give it a more professional look and i've got it pretty fully packed out just to show you how much we can get inside, but it really helps to thin it down if you'd, like So yeah just compression buckles here, just some duraflex hardware, if you like that uh you have elastic keepers here to manage the straps, which is really important for a bag

* Constraints: close to (but under) 25,26L. Really, the main constraint is that I find backpacks that are &gt; 18.5" tall usually look too big on me. Also, at this point in my life I mostly not doing multi-week backpacking travel anymore, and if I really need to one-bag/backpack a larger load (30+L) then I have an Osprey \~40L pack that I can easily under pack and compress

* Oppose This Invisible Carryon: almost looks perfect (functions and aesthetic-wise), but doesn't seem to be in stock/available

* Setout Laptop: also looks pretty nice, but again would prefer black, and their marketing materials make it look so bulky

 And it goes straight to the bottom of the backpack. No suspension. Which means, if you drop your backpack at the end of a long day, your laptop could be damaged. Watch out! Over time, the laptop sleeve (due to the weight of the laptop) will be loose and I've found it will droop over

 It fit my MacBook Pro 15inch + it had a plastic case on it, so you don't have to worry about that. I wish the inside of the bag was a different colour though. Felt like I was looking into darkness, trying to find my stuff. Not enough pockets and inside organisation

 Woohoo! Took it to Italy for 2 months and it survived as well. CONS: The laptop sleeve is, just, a sleeve. Just material. No padding

If you want to use this for more commuter style things. now you can fit up to a 15 inch laptop, but the pocket that's on this is not a padded pocket. Now Timbuktu does offer padded pockets and some of their other packs, but this is not one of them

 It is toward the end of August the latter half of August of 2017 and this is something that Gretchen found to be really, really awesome, especially with those rainy and a little more chilly days which are gonna require some waterproofing of all your indoor gear sometimes and the versatility to go outside. The Tuck Pack from Timbuktu is big enough to fit a laptop, but not bulky. It's also durable enough to wear on a hike or a bike, but it's also fashionable since the brand was founded by a bike messenger. Timbuktu knows what they're doing with holding up things that are both good-looking but still super functionable and hardcore

- 15 inches laptop and a bag of accessories 
- toilet bag 
- gym clothes 
- work clothes 
- towel
- pair of shoes (non compressible/foldable)
- food bag 

Also sometimes i need to add my biking vest inside the bag when coming back home. 

Just curious what are the models used by the community with similar needs.

What do you guys use for backpack ?

 This could have been better if it had a Shire like metal clip or a standard Timbuk2 clip.  And finally 2 things I don't like.  First, the top strap to the clip doesn't move well and so I had to use two hands to make it tighter or loosen it. This could have been better if it had thicker with less slippery strap, formerly typical Timbuk2 straps

Not good enough.

 When you have your bag on one shoulder strap on the move, you can access your exterior pocket, grab things like your wallet or whatever you need to in a pinch, and you have quick access for your laptop as well on the interior of the bag. You access this by opening up this one simple, easy buckle. We have plenty of storage space for things like bike, helmet, jacket, whatever you need throughout the day. Great organizational area here slash pockets for your cell phone, business cards, pens, whatever you need to stay and keep organized

The lightweight straps getting uncomfortable carrying much weight make this a poor choice for long airport days. The deal breaker for me is no strap to slide it over a suitcase handle. I need a little more structure and a strap. But for others the above uses may make it worth owning

 I think I speak for a lot of owners that if the build quality was improved, I would gladly pay more money for it. It's a really nice bag. But it's just not durable to handle the 5 days a week, heavy commute.
