It comes with speed and distance water Waterproof up to 50 meters and is overall pretty effective I've enjoyed my time with it other than the small problems they had with Overall than the small problems they have with the radio accidentally activating and causing some issues there It's a great watch and I would suggest it now it does come in at a hefty price of 230 dollars which makes How much you value you're running and the exactness of it It was worth it for me But if it's worth it for you is on a case-by-case basis.  Hi guys, this is Pierce Gordon here with our review of the GPS speed plus distance Run trainer by Timex Ironman. Now, this is an overall pretty great watch. It comes with the charging pins on the back GPS capabilities Now some of the big problems with it is the GPS will accidentally turn itself on when you're wearing it And when you're inside and this happens, it makes a very loud noise which can be interruptive to dinners or class So that's an issue. They need to fix and it may be a design error because the way you wear it Right there

32  I uploaded my session to Training Peaks and looked at it on a map on-line, it seems fairly accurate, with the exception of appearing to cut corners (literally) when I make a 90 degree turn from one street to another.  And if I enter this as a walking route on Google Maps with all of the waypoints I use, it says the walking distance is 3.8 miles.  So what the heck happened? Anybody have any idea? Timex Customer Support????

 Yes, it will sit in your desk drawer trying to find satellites, apparently. Download your workouts to your computer immediately with the Device Agent software because those will be lost if your battery runs out. Also, if you want to configure your watch and save the settings (because all your preferences will also be lost if your battery drains) you can do it in DeviceAgent then synch with your watch and all your preferences will be updated on your watch. It took me a long time to learn all this (the hard way)

Had some issues which I resolved, but this is a dealbreaker:  DISTANCES WAY OFF ALL OF A SUDDEN!

 As a Marathoner and a 7 day a week runner--rain or shine--it was Timex due to its waterproofing. Now, the watch is solid with tons of features that I will not need, but have available. Love the fact you can set it up on the computer and download the settings to the watch, but the trainingpeaks software is crap! You need to buy a membership for all the features and the free membership really is junk. Garmins website has it hands down with website uploading! Still the watch is great if that is all you care about, but if you want to interact with your data then Garmins website is much better

I was stuck after my Garmin FR60 died several weeks ago and I had a 1/2 Marathon coming up, and by the way the Garmin was a great watch! So, I wanted to upgrade since the local racing club no longer allows headsets and my iPhone would simply become a giant watch. I looked at every watch on the market for a solid yet affordable GPS function that would support my Garmin footpod and heart rate monitor and it came down to Garmin 210 and Timex. Timed Run Timer--not so impressed

 So Tim, first impressions so far? I love this watch. I mean, plain and simple. This watch gives me everything I need and because it's a GPS watch, it has everything in the watch that I need in terms of measuring my distance. I don't have to get in the car and drive down the block to see how long a mile was

 When I run, I always like to know how fast I'm going and over a time of runs of basically how my average pace was and this really shows it really, really nice and easy and between the three display screens, you can see up to nine bits of data, which is really easy to see. One of the great benefits, you can upload this to training peaks and finally, talk about this display and how easy it is to see. Well, Timex really nailed it this year because this is the first watch that I've seen from Timex that really has a wonderful display, easy to read, the digits are nice and big and it also has a reversible display, so black and white text color, which is really nice and new to Timex, but it's a great watch, easy to read while you're running in motion and yeah, they really nailed it, so it's a wonderful piece. The high resolution, it's amazing
