Indiglo is a brand name of Indiglo Corporation, solely owned by Timex for licensing purposes. Timex electroluminescent lamps, branded Indiglo, were introduced in 1992 in the Ironman watch line. They were an immediate success. The Indiglo lamp uniformly lights the surface of the Timex’s watch dials in a manner that makes the dial read very easily in many different light settings. In some newer watches the Indiglo backlight only lights up the numbers, rather than the entire LCD display, which is achieved by means of a specialized film that inverts the LCD transmissivity.

 So what do you get? You get the manual, and I definitely recommend whoever buys this watch to at least spend some several minutes, you know, just to get to know the watch really well, even though it's really, really easy to use, unlike other GPS watch, USB charging cable, and the watch itself. So, as you can see, it's not hard to operate. There's about six buttons here, you got the mode button, the on and off for the GPS, and you got your backlit lighting in the glow. You got your start or split, that's for your laps if you want to split it

 For $99 or $100, you can't go wrong. I got mine from the internet, the reason being is that it's not available yet in Canada, and I checked the Canadian Timex website, it will cost about $150 plus DAX to get these, so it's definitely a lot expensive. And I usually buy electronic stuff from the US because it's a lot cheaper and saves me more money. So that's $100 including shipping, so the seller was pretty nice to give me a pre-shipping on this one
