 This was a 56 degree Vokey wedge, about a 40 yard shot for me measuring spin. I was getting a very high spin rate for such a short shot at 7,000 RPMs. Next I measured spin on the same wedge but in a full swing hitting about an 80 yard shot and the spin rate with this golf ball was the highest I've seen at 10,500 RPMs. Switching to the 7 iron, I started first with the Titleist T100

 If you're a player that needs a steeper descent angle to hold greens, this is going to be a good ball for you to try. I next hit the T200 iron, a little bit lower spinning design. My ball speed went up as a result at 115. Launch angle went down a hair at 21

Swinging at 84 miles an hour is getting an average ball speed of 111 miles an hour. What golf ball do you use and why?

 And I swear these balls truly do deliver and go straighter than other balls I try. They are a bit of a clickier harder ball than the Pro v1s, however, this is actually something I prefer in a golf ball, and I do not like the Pro v1s as much as the X. I tried the Pro v1s to give an honest go, but I will stick with the V1xs.

 I have hit trees, straight up trunks of trees, branches, cart paths and these balls just take the abuse. Eventually they take their damage obviously, but the price you pay for the premium is crazy good. Sure if you break it down it as a 4$ ball, however, a Kirkland ball although a 1$ ball just simply gets destroyed faster than said 4$ ball.

 As a previous devoted user of Kirkland balls, Titleist Tru Feels and Srixon Q Star Tours, these balls just simply did not last more than maybe 3-6 holes depending on what transpired on said hole. High Handicappers Can Use This Ball Too

 First things first, we are getting straight into it today because this is, I mean, there's not much that's changed the game of golf in the way of distance games in the last, well, forever than the Titleist Pro V1. So we've got today the Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1X for 2021. We're going to give it a bit of a first look. I'm going to hit it here in the studio because we're still not allowed out on the golf course

 The trajectory was actually still fairly consistent, just kind of two real bad ones there. So a little bit of a mixed bag there. If we look at the irons, 7-iron Pro V1, nice and towering, all a little bit left. I have struggled with that today

 We do actually have a new alignment aid on there as well, which Titleist generally update whenever they update the Pro V1. And that to me does actually look quite nice and sleek. Sometimes I'm a little bit disappointed with new golf ball releases that that doesn't change too much. But I do think that's quite noticeable, even if it's like such a small minor detail

 So interesting numbers there. Do I think these are miraculous new golf balls that are going to go 10, 15 yards further? Not particularly. Do I think they're just as good as what Titleist would want to release as people are expecting in the Pro shops? Yeah, I think they're good. I think they do pretty much what they say

What's your favorite under $35 a dozen golf ball?

 A cheaper worse ball is not an upgrade in any way. The big guys make those too, and I don’t play them for a reason. I’m a spin guy, so I prefer the Xs. There’s just no comparison between a real golf ball and all these new ones

 By then the prices will be the same, or very similar, and it wont matter. Im back on good stuff baby, and I’ll never betray it again.
