Here at Nomads Nation, we do our backpack reviews a little bit differently right now I'm based in Vietnam so we're gonna take the Tortuga set out through the streets of Ho Chi Minh City This way you can see the way the pack looks, the way that it feels, and how it functions in an urban environment. And most importantly I Highly recommend that you stick around for the end

 I've got some pocket heavy and feature heavy backpacks down there. And last but not least, this backpack is absolutely not for you if you are looking for a backpack for outdoors activity like hiking. Although yes, this bad boy is super super comfortable at the end of the day, this is not a hiking backpack. This is an urban travel back effect

 This is not an everyday backpack. this is the I am traveling the world for six to twelve months back pack and I need to fit my entire life's worth thing and then on top of it. Not only is 45 litres by itself enormous, but this particular 45 litre. the Tortuga setup backpack is the biggest 45 litre I've ever seen, which will explain a bit more as we get inside the actual main compartment

This can go from 24 to 34 liters by unzipping, unzipping the expansion I love that idea I Love I'm the type of person that I like being able to be flexible I like being able to change things, be adaptable and I feel like those are the gifts I like it myself I also like in my bed so that's viola with it I also looked at the peak bag which is very very you got a convertible to I think he goes from 30 to 40 liters, something like that and what? There's a 35 litre in between. but I didn't go with it because it looks so big, huge and I think it'd be kind of dorky to be walking around that in the nature park

I probably would put passport keys both in there I see cheesecake over here - clip maybe I drop my headphones I think I imagine my headphones these are my Sony M X 1000 - yeah and main compartment: undo the compression straps. you can tell that this is maxed out In terms of you know its its dimensions

The Outbreaker is another option, but seems even more squared off and rollerbag on your back looking. * Aer Travel Pack 2 33L - Tied Second choice, seems to suffer from the same problem as the Tortuga Setout in terms of putting all the capacity into the center instead of the "EDC" compartments.

There's another pocket down here

 Now in this case, what do I put my wallet do I leave that in there. Oh, I left my wallet inside my green room here. so when you take out my wallet when I was in Texas I kept my wallet in this little hidden pocket here which is really quite convenient. and then I can slide my phone right into that same pocket obviously on the other side

 and, of course,, a zippered pocket that's perfect for sunglasses, as well as a clip for keys, tying it all together. However, One thing to note with this compartment is that it's hard to utilize the space below, especially if you're utilizing the organization systems.
