Hey all I live in Alberta Canada where winters are cold as hell. And we get a decent amount of snow. My max budget 300. Boots that provide warmth for around and below -30C, have good tread for ice, and maneuverable (not huge/heavy/clunky-boots below mid calf). I’ll be using these boots mostly for walking.

Any reliable brand recs or specific model recs are appreciated. I’m also a woman’s size 7. Thank you!

Winter Boots For -30C and below

 Just be careful when you need boots for cold weather since it's quite dangerous if you cannot keep warm in the feet to almost freeze your feet off. I gave it a middle rating for the fashion look I love and the grip that's better than other UGG shoes.

Sometimes after a 30 min walk, her toes turn white. 1 reason is because everywhere else is warm except for the toe area where it is a rubber lining on the outside and a thin layer on the inside. 

I don’t remember which brand she had specifically but it looks like this one where the toes are rubber and the whole body of the boot looks like the “Sorell Women’s Caribou” or the “Women’s Chilkat 400 Boots North Face”

My question is, those of you who have the ‘UGG Adirondack III”, what is your experience with the boot and does it keep your feet and TOES warm? How is the slip resistance?  And any others you recommend that keep your toes warm with good slip resistance?

Winter Boots that keep your TOES warm also.

 I have another pair of Uggs and they are the same size, but actually a little loose on me. These boots do not have the same fit, that's for darned sure. *fingers crossed*

I have been so looking forward to getting these boots in the mail. I have been wanting them for a few years, and was really prepared to love them. I was sadly disappointed though because these boots were so small and narrow that there was no way I could wear them. I am going to try going up a whole size and seeing if they fit then, if they don't, I will have to return them

 These fit tight across instep initially, and are more a 7.5 in length. They loosened up some after wearing them for several hours (barefoot) but not enough if you have a wide foot.

Absolutely gorgeous boot and extremely warm. Just keep in mind the fit. I’ll be keeping them. They really don’t need a heavy sock is why…due to being well insulated

Beautiful boots….BUT..

I had to return them- way too tight, even with thin socks. I even tried them in my bare feet because the lining looked/felt so cozy, but even tho the toe area felt roomy enough, the middle part was still too uncomfortable to keep on.
