 I Just reviewed since they're recently released products. this was a perfect time to future-proof these things. We don't get that chance. Not a deal-breaker of course the speakers of functions obviously, but was hoping the industry would have moved forward together

 It's a pre adjusted equalizer meant for outdoors which I would give you my verdict later. Now a touching base and the internals I Didn't see a Bluetooth rating on their website, but Ultimate Ears did claim up to a hundred feet worth of bluetooth performance which is I mean very high-end testing this around my apartment I Was able to get a full 100% coverage no matter what corner I Went to around here I Never lost connection. The connection never even stuttered the signals going through several walls and my apartment is about 1,100 square feet for reference. Now testing this with video audio played perfectly fine on both YouTube and Netflix

 Definitely enough for small rooms and some medium sized rooms as well. The one big critique that I noticed: overall what the speaker is more for entertaining rather than achieving ultimate audio immersion here. Absolutely, this isn't an audiophile speaker, at least sitting too close to it. The audio did sound a little distorted and the high frequencies, but the further that I slowly walked away from here, the better it sounds

 Going to base the What A Broom 2 Does sound to have improved over the previous model, it's a bit more pleasing. It's warmer. overall it's in the right direction. The mid-range is clean, and with the outdoor mode again, this is pushed quite forward, which I'm sure many will like

Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2 - REVIEW

It is my understanding that the motion+ is generally accepted as the best for its price range in terms of sound quality and that the wonderboom 2 is great for its durability. I want a portable speaker pretty much to play when hanging out with friends, whether that be sitting around indoors, at a party, going on a hike or camping, etc. (I’d also use it in the shower but both are fine for that) Because of this, it would probably get a fair amount of use both indoors and outdoors.

Soundcore Motion+ vs UE Wonderboom 2

 I have the tribit stormbox the stormbox micro 2, soundcore flare 2, earfun uboom, jbl flip 6 and I would take any of these over the wonderboom 3. Out of all of them I would say I like the new flip 6 the best which the only downfall it has is the lack of 360 sound openness the other speakers have. One of the biggest issues, is this speaker was just released and they chose to not include usb-c charging and instead stuck with micro usb!? The only other speaker I have with micro usb is the original stormbox which was released a while ago so it gets a pass. There is no excuse for the lack of usb-c on a newly released small speaker in this price range

 Sure this speaker sounds pretty good but for anyone saying this has bass I'm struggling to hear where that bass is... The smaller tribit micro 2 I have, has more bass than this and in fact every single speaker I have pictured has better bass, not just mid bass which most speakers emphasize, but sub bass extention is better on all of them

Talk about an overhyped speaker. I have seen all kinds of praise for the wonderboom 2 and once I saw that the wonderboom 3 was newly released I wanted to finally see what all the hype was about. Every early review I could find stated that the 3 had better bass and overall sound than the 2. If that is the case then the 2 must be a really bad speaker

I like the sound of many of the UE products. I use the Wonderboom 2 often. It has a nice midrange sound, and it sounds really good in the midrange and treble area. I listen to good bit of jazz, classic rock

I had a JBL charge 3 for 6 years until it recently died. I’m looking for a new portable Bluetooth speaker. However the JBL seemed to have too much bass for my liking. Recently listened to the Marshall kilburn 2 and really liked the warmth of the treble. The highs and mids were good too.

Need help picking a new portable speaker.

  When it comes to ordering two of them for pairing, if you want full surround sound speakers, these are not meant for you. Imagine high end tv speakers but you can place them wherever you want while being able to carry them in your hands with ease, that’s what WB3&2 are. However, if you want speakers that live up to their name, look no further. The prices are haunting, but you won’t be disappointed

Wonderboom 3 is definitely a sharper enhancement from the WB2. The difference between WB2 and WB1 is quite smaller unless you do get two WB2s to pair them. I though it wasn’t possible, but I make instrumentals and WB3 has a more punchy bass with richer/clearer mids and highs. If WB2 was a 9, WB3 is def a 10

The outdoor mode does louden them, but only so much(it is perfect for keeping the music). The distance when they are paired before they start to distort can be fairly large but not large distances

  Again, they are expensive, you won’t be disappointed, but at the same time you’ll be heavily missing out if you don’t have two of them(WB3 or WB2) for the stereo sound.  I hope this review helps, please ask any questions you may have.

Which if the three is worth?

Love the sound quality and portability of the speaker! I noticed after about 6 months that the battery was only lasting about 5 hours, versus the 13 hours that the instruction manual says it lasts. Was having to charge it after almost every trip. Contacted Logitech (manufacturer of Wonderboom), and they replaced the speaker. Great customer service! The major plus is that you can add two speakers together, creating a surround sound type atmosphere!

I have really liked the UE Wonderboom 2. Really good sound despite the small footprint. I liked the Sony XB 23 as well, but I think the sale recently ended on it.

My JBL flip 3 served me well but the battery barely lasts 40 minutes now so I'm looking for a replacement. I bought a smaller jbl go 2 and while I was happy w the size and the sound for the price, it Didn't get loud enough.
My budget would probably max at 100$ but the ideal would be in the 50-70 range
Anything with a similar form factor to JBL flip 3 would be good
In terms of sound, one thing that annoyed me with the JBL flip 3 is that while it was loud, it only fired one direction so when I was with a group of friends it would sound very underwhelming depending on where you stand. Therefore I would be interested in perhaps opting for a 360° sound model if you agree but only if that 360° speaker could get similarly loud as a front facing one. I do like bass but I am not obsessed with having massive base

The Good - Fantastic Sound quality for its size. But as other mentioned, the wonderboom has a very loud & annoying on&off sound-effect (loud enough to wake other people in the same room). There's no way to disable it. If they could just allow the user to turn that sound-effect OFF I'd easily give this 5-stars

I have really liked the Wonderboom 2 for a smaller speaker for a bedroom or home office. Good battery, good sound quality. Sony XB 23 is bit bass heavy  but good. Altec Lansing H20 Jacket solid too.
