I also get headset jitter on the 8KX (something else I've seen reported) and for some reason the Index Controllers jitter a lot more when paired to the 8KX and sometimes fly off into the distance. I've seen other people report this and there's a thread on the Pimax forums where this has been "fixed" by pairing the controllers to dongles instead of the headset. Yeah, nah I'm not doing that.

They simply feel amazing to use, even if there’s little point in extending only your pinky in most VR games

Didn't have to troubleshoot anything for the index, Rift CV1, or the HTC Vive. Valve Index is definitely the most comfortable. Knuckles controllers are comfortable and give you a lot of freedom as well as incorporating finger tracking.

If my partner is calling out for me, or if my dog walks by, I can hear them and be able to orient myself to my physical space far more quickly. Also, it's much less of a pain to have to put on the Quest, get it to sit comfortably, then locate my headphones on my desk and put those on, then reverse the process whenever taking them off. With the Index I can slip on the headset and be done. \- The controllers are both great IMO.

Initial setup aside, I find the Index a faster, more reliable system to get into. It's easier and quicker to find the sweet spot, the wires are less obtrusive and you don't have to go through WMR to get to Steam VR.
