 You are giving a lot of system permissions for it to work. They should not be asking anyone to sign in or even be online unless they are streaming to a service. In that case, you just need the sign in for the streaming service.

 Why the hell do I need to sign in for? Since I don't sign in, the buttons don't work at all. They blink when I touch it, which tells me it is not a hardware issue but an annoying person decided to not let it work, unless you give them a chance to collect your data. You are giving a lot of system permissions for it to work. They should not be asking anyone to sign in or even be online unless they are streaming to a service

 you will see pretty much ONLY gear that has been out for a few years. Some of it likely even decades. Cheap, unsupported gear gets outdated. Gear worth buying

 Anyone who already owns a Stream Deck and convince them they have to buy this new one.. This also makes it clear just how solid of a product the original Stream Deck was.

 He specifically doesn't choose the latest and greatest because he wants the most stable and mature platforms for his daily grind editors to get the most work done. Gear like this, which has matured more, will continue to be a good value even multiple years later.. I think this poor mindset runs rampant in the streaming scene because of the inherently toxic affect streaming

 For the husband, he utilized for all of his virtual show functions, while the kid programmed his for game streaming. The unit is very well made and if you find yourself have to switch windows, do repetative functions, and want to speed up your productivity, this is a must have device to add to your workspace arsenal.

 If you use all 15 buttons, you can also program the buttons to have submenus so you can utilize another 15 slots. Programming the unit is very simple, and both the husband and the kid were able to program their own separate profiles so that they could use the Streamdeck in different ways. For the husband, he utilized for all of his virtual show functions, while the kid programmed his for game streaming. The unit is very well made and if you find yourself have to switch windows, do repetative functions, and want to speed up your productivity, this is a must have device to add to your workspace arsenal

All told, we really like the Elgato Stream Deck. It is expensive, which is a big factor in the disclaimer laid out up front. If you're not a semi-serious or consistent streamer, it's hard to really justify. If it were less expensive, it could be a useful enough tool and a good gag accessory

 There are a host of options for game footage capture specifically, including Elgato's Game Capture software. I don't have a capture card on my home test PC, so I was unable to try this out, but if you have a card such as Elgato's own Game Capture HD60 S, the important takeaway is that it's quite easy to understand and almost as simple to use.

 If you're in the middle of a game, it keeps you focused on the action more, and this ease of use applies to virtually every action. It's much quicker to hit a dedicated clip footage button than to use the Twitch interface, for example.

It may surprise you, but I am not, in fact, a full-time professional streamer. I tested the main streaming features to see how seamless it is to use, and how well integrated the Stream Deck can be in your setup. Seeing as how this isn't my main use case, though, I also tried to fit the Stream Deck into my usual activities, both gaming and otherwise. I'm happy to say I found it genuinely useful for other tasks, though I wouldn't suggest buying the Stream Deck without planning on streaming

Your three smaller fingers wrap around the grip of the controller, which uses many capacitive sensors to detect how far open or closed each individual finger is

 If you're looking at buying these or vive ones for your Vr setup, these seem like a no-brainer to me. Index controllers are more enjoyable to use and they are more functional. My controllers did require replacements, but so far I cannot fault the warranty experience and I don't know that their longevity is any worse than other controllers. I enjoy using them and in the current climate I believe I would personally choose to buy into Vr with a full index kit

 I played through the entirety of Boneworks with Five Ones, and although the bindings were sub-optimal a good game is a good game. Index controllers won't change that, but they do make the experience smoother and they are certainly worth an extra 20 pounds. Looking back at the index controllers, Htc makes the price appear more reasonable. These controllers are genuinely a joy to use, and I do enjoy the reduced friction in Vr being able to interact and gesture more naturally than with other controllers
