 It doesn't smell dated. It doesn't utilize any ingredients that are evocative of like the 70s or the 80s or the 90s. And so a lot of times when you have fragrances like those, if you were a fragrance consultant, let's say you probably wouldn't recommend it to a 20 year old living in 2020. So this fragrance, on the other hand, I would actually recommend

 Is this fragrance still unique in 2020? And we've seen, of course, this has spawned several iterations of various flankers. And of course, I'm going to weigh it out against its flankers. If I find this to be better smelling to my nose, at least in comparison to like Spice Bomb Night Vision, Night Vision eau de parfums, Spice Bomb Extreme. With all of these flankers given consideration to them, do I think that this one is still better? So my personal opinion is this is my favorite

IS SPICEBOMB EAU DE TOILETTE (EDT) BY VIKTOR & ROLF STILL WORTH IT IN 2020?

Byredo Gypsy Water smells like somebody accidentally set a marshmallow on fire and then, in a fit of pique, threw it into a puddle of water beside their Blundstone-clad feet. Viktor&Rolf Spicebomb smells like a Nailed It contestant measuring cinnamon in tablespoons rather than teaspoons like the recipe actually called for.

I'll start, Dior homme intense smells like those rough plastic diapers from early 2000s, but it still smells amazing!

**First question is, are these top 3 the same for both categories?** That's a no for me.

One of the things I want to sort out on my fragrance journey going forward is *great smelling fragrances and great wearing fragrances.*

Some of the best fragrances I've ever smelled I've worn the least and some fragrances, while I still live them, aren't the best fragrances I've ever smelled, I've worn the most. 

The wearing experience has been better in some shape or form, whether its performance, climate, cost and availability.

So here are my 2 lists (I'm doing a top 5 instead of a top 3, you can do how many you want, I picked 3 because it seemed easier for everyone).

**Top 5 Most Worn**

**So why is only one of my best smelling fragrances on my most worn list?** 3 reasons.

1. I'm at work 80% of my life. I work at a hospital and I'm not sure sexy, boozy, woody scent like *Straight To Heaven Extreme, Single Malt, Tuxedo* and * Enigma* are appropriate in that environment. *Aventus* is very easy to wear (like the rest in my top 5 most worn list).

2. Climate. I live in a tropical climate (Louisiana) so it's very warm and humid a good portion of the year. Most of my favorites are spicy, sweeter and a bit darker. Not always the best in 90+ degree weather.

3. 4 of my 5 best smelling are either in limited production, very expensive or discontinued. Don't want to go HAM on these. Would rather save them for special occasions.

It doesn&#39;t project like most sweeter, richer fragrances do. It also smells extremely close to an alcoholic drink. It wears like I spilled a drink on myself. Straight To Heaven Extreme and Tuxedo don&#39;t perform well either. That&#39;s annoying considering the cost. Enigma is fine, but like all of these fragrances on my best smelling list, it smells &quot;special&quot; and I don&#39;t feel right wearing them casually.

I asked him to smell some of the fragrances I had in mind, he wasn't sold on them.
Then, he smelled this one EXTREMELY cheap (12€) vanilla perfume, called Alyssa Ashley - Vanilla.
He said "Babe this is the one!! Wow it smells SO good".
I almost felt offended by his choice, all of these fragrances and THIS is the one??
I refused to buy it, but he was so in love with it so he convinced me to let him buy it for me
I bought alot of fragrances during our relationship, but his favorite was always that one cheap vanilla perfume.

This smells pretty good, and is a fresh summer scent that is not overpowering. I personally would like it a little less fruity smelling, since I am not a woman, but the girls that I have asked seemed to like it.

 I sprayed it into the air, drafted it into clothes and various cotton services and still have doubts as I smell more like I spilled something out of my sons diaper bag on to my shirt. I‘ve rarely written a review for anything purchased on amazon. However, this particular purchase has me scratching my head and not feeling great about it. Which 5 fragrances could suit any mood and situation you come across?

Here's mine:

Chanel - Bleu De Chanel: True dumb reach. I've never felt this is inappropriate. It's formal enough for work, casual enough for friends, hot enough for dates. Recieved a lot of compliments from this.

Dior - Sauvage: Say what you will but this is a compliment magnet. Imo it's a little too casual for work but anywhere else it works great. 

YSL - La Nuit De L'Homme: Sexy as hell. A lot of added confidence of dates and nights in. I also feel like this is appropriate enough to wear formally since the sweetness is quite reigned in. The performance is surprisingly decent compared to what I've read online. I e got a 2020 bottle.

Mancera - The Aoud: I needed an oud on this list. After much searching this oud is perfect for me. It's quite clean but enough bite to make it interesting. Floral type of oud but masculine. 

DSquared2 - Green Wood: As an outdoorsy/green scent this is divine. Lush greenery, lemon, spices, and a tiny bit of sweetness. Really well blended and great performance.
