 As i said, the handle is made of g10 material with about three and a half inches of grip area closed. This knife is 3.7 inches, but speaking of grip, despite the fairly small handle, it does, allow you to get really close to the blade for more control.  The wii banter provides plenty of blade to cut with, especially because the sharpened edge takes advantage of the whole length of the blade, but the blade stock thickness is modest as well. At a tenth of an inch with a behind the edge thickness of around .016 inches makes the wii banter a really great slicer. I know it's like 0.0000000001% of their GDP, but I like having some agency in where I invest in my hobby. As such most of my knives are NA/EU made with some made in Japan.

Considering how crazy popular some Chinese knife brands are like Civivi, We, and Reate; guessing not a lot of people share my opinion?

Thoughts on Chinese knives?

When I first got it I absolutely fell in love. It instantly became my EDC and originally the action was just beautiful but then after a few hard open flicks (And i admit, i thumb flick my knives maybe too aggressively) it developed a bit of blade play where the lock doesn't completely make contact. So now i have a beautiful knife that quickly became my absolute favorite to being let down with a blade that rocks back and forth against the lock that drives me completely crazy every time I use it.

Great for light duty use but don't push it.

 Now i was cutting um double thick cardboard and it was blazing through it like nothing, no problems and it didn't matter what i was cutting when when i was slicing its slices very very well, like i said i, you have so much control with the ergos that It yeah it helps with the cutting performance. Now, the geometry of the blade is really good too. I measured this one directly behind the edge at 15. Thousands now it is a flat ground blade

So it's an it's, not a hollow grind, so it is going to get thicker as you sharpen it, but the taper is done very well, which is going to make it sharpen up really good too with life. You know the more you know as you sharpen it

 So since it is kind of like a spear point, you know the tip does have a thickness to it. That makes it strong yet good for utility cuts in a way, but if it was anything dense, i didn't get the best cuts now if it was just a straight line, not a big issue, but if i was trying to do circles or any type of s Cuts or anything like that, it didn't do very well with thicker cardboard like i said straight lines, not a problem, but you know any type of shapes or anything like that. Wasn'T very good, but once i changed my cardboard out and got some thinner, cardboard or regular cardboard, it did fantastic, so no issues as long as it wasn't super thick materials with the tip so and you know for the most part, i don't know if this is Gon na be the kind of knife you really put through thick dense materials anyways, so not a big deal at all getting to the action, so the thumb studs are well placed. You know this is kind of you know uh

I’m new to knives.  Like really new.  I’ve been into watches for a while and I see that this is a similar rabbit hole which scares me!  My 12 year old daughter recently asked me for a knife. I’ve had a James Brand Folsom for a while (which I’m realizing now isn’t that great a knife value wise from my research for my daughter).  Bottom line is she wants a folder.  I’m looking at the CRKT Squid, Pilar and Tuna.  I’m also looking at the Ontario Rat 2 (D2)and Civivi Elementum.  Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

12 year old daughter wants a knife.

I purchased the blue one and the black one and am not paid for this review. Saw a one star review on this and that is absurd. Here's my review. This is a solid all-around knife made for everyday tasks -Opening boxes, cutting tags off, opening plastic bags - It is not a defensive blade or kitchen chef knife

 It's sharp, opens easily, is priced right and carries well. S35vn blade steel is a really great bang for the buck steel that still remains sharpenable without trouble. The 'looks' of the knife are not going to win any awards unless you copped the Space Kitty scales in the limited preorder, but the action is as good as some $500 knives I own. The action flies open like a pro-tech automatic

This is a great sturdy little knife, great ergonomics and good blade steel in s35vn blade steel, also drop shuts with a small flick of the wrist. Great deployment too absolutely flies out with ease. Very good for edc, it is currently in my regular rotation a d will be there for a long time to come. Very much recommend this knife! Very quick shipping too
