 Like I barely used like I've bought like 220 pound bags of B&B lump charcoal and I barely used I mean I grew all the same three times a week. Oh another great feature about that too with a lump since I'm a newbie to this stuff how clean it burns like I haven't emptied out that ashcan once yet and I'm on about 30 pounds of lump which is if you use you know Kingsford blue on your Weber 22 you know you got to change that thing out pretty often. So another thumbs up to why. Been kind of converted to a lump charcoal guy

 But pretty much that's the same. Nothing's changed with that. Now going on the inside now just heads up I've already been cooking on this so it is dirty. It has been used

You would be better served to buy an old school webber kettle for grilling and a dedicated smoking cabinet or similar for low and slow while still saving money

The Weber Summit Kamado E6

 Since I have some "experience" with both, I can say it's clearly a completely different design than the original. Whereas the original E6 stand design felt hokey and somewhat flimsy this feels sturdy and straightforward (btw this was clearly primarily a design/engineering issue, not a manufacturing problem as I've seen some suggest online!).  ****  I previously owned a ceramic kamado grill, a "large" (18 inch) Big Green Egg, for about 10 years. Even setting aside the E6's larger size (24 vs 18), I think this is a better product and it should last a lot longer than basically any ceramic grill on the market under real-world conditions

..) and (2) this new support stand is very robust, plenty stable, and is at least as good as competing products. Don't let this issue hold you back

 It shares some design elements with Weber's nicer kettles, like the ash cleanout and lower vent (not a bad thing!), but it also feels like the pricey grill it is with its solid design (the metal is obviously much thicker), slick hinged hood, double-wall insulation, etc.  Incidentally, I also like that this has a built-in fan port for an automatic temperature controller. It's much slicker than the adapter plates used to fit fans over the bottom damper/vent on most other kamodos. You don't need it, strictly speaking, once you know how to set the vents and get up to temp, but it makes life easier when you want more of a pellet grill-like experience (as in, being able to leave it alone for many hours without having to fiddle with vents or anything else at all)

 I added some unlit charcoal as well as some wood chunks. We're using cherry today. The flame that we see over in the corner there is from one of the wood chunks that I put right over the hot coals. So now I'm going to go ahead and fill up the water reservoir

 And what I have here is about one quart of hot water. It's pretty important that you use hot or really warm water for this stage instead of cold. So now we've got the grill grate in place. So what I'm trying to do today is I want to smoke my pork belly at 250 degrees

 So I banked some lump charcoal over into the corner of the Slow and Sear, and at the bottom of it, I had a wax cube. So I went ahead and lit up that wax cube. I'm going to let this burn probably for about 15 minutes. And at that point, I'll fill up the rest of this with the unlit coals, and then I'll also add some water to the water reservoir and get this thing going

 So now we've got the grill grate in place. So what I'm trying to do today is I want to smoke my pork belly at 250 degrees. So I'm going to let the cooker come up to temperature and then we'll get the pork bellies on to get the process started. So while the smoker was coming up to temperature, I got my pork bellies seasoned

The near-perfect grill

 If you look at the ventilation down below you see that they adjusted that and they made a small change to the hole. Which allowed you to go really precise on the amount of air that you let into your summer charcoal grill. This is where you see that they really have thought about this in a manner with a lot of care and a lot of attention to detail. Also for the insulation of the kettle itself you can reach underneath it which means they let the hot air insulate the barbecue

 So yesterday I assembled this barbecue and that already told me this is a great grill. This is a great Weber barbecue. And the funny thing is there is a lot of Weber heritage still in this barbecue. It's not like they threw every design they ever made out of the window

 And the fact that they put in a hole where you can put your temperature controller in. You know one of these vent to let you control the temperature of your barbecue how cool is that. I've never seen that on a Weber grill before but it's fantastic I love that they did this. Well I hope you guys enjoyed this video I sure had a lot of fun making it

 They're already full of the bone ready so they just need about 20 minutes or so just to get that stickiness in there and then they're ready to come off. Wow and the Weber Summit charcoal performed like a dream all that time it was super stable really easy to control. I opened the lid it came back up to temperature and it just stayed throughout the cook I was in full control and I love that. Well the ribs turned out amazing they're still so juicy and nice smoke ring and they're they're just perfect
