While it's not professional studio-grade, it's a high-value choice that offers a wide range of angles and adjustments for any photographer.
Unfortunately, the height is quite short &#40;48.5 inches&#41;. Our shortest testers had to bend over when using it, even when fully extended. While we like the quick flip lockers on the legs when at full extension, it shakes and vibrates in the wind. If you choose to take it backpacking, as we did, you'll want to keep it low when taking longer exposures. That said, it'll still get a great shot of the stars.

Worst, cheapest tripod for this price range I've ever seen.

  What I like: Cost is low for the features. Weight is not too bad. My scale says it's 2.2 lbs

 The two bubble levels are conveniently placed. It's short enough when folded to go in my carry on bag.  What is not so good: This tripod is not very tall at the longest extension so would not be comfortable for anyone who is tall. I'm 5ft

I really like this tripod so far

I bought this tripod for some macro work with my Canon SX740, primarily indoors. And it looks like it will meet my needs perfectly. With some patience, it looks like any configuration is possible for the macro work. While lightweight, it is sturdy

A marvel for the money

 I’m impressed by the neat features in this little tripod, especially for the price. The legs spread out for low shooting and the center column comes out and flips upside down for macro shooting. There’s even a retractable “stabilization” hook on the center column for adding weight to steady the tripod when it’s windy, etc. The legs have easy flip locks and the locks that flatten the legs are simple to use as well

Wow. Impressive for the money

  Simple but effective, the ball head boasts quite a unique design. There’s the often-seen adjustable friction damper, but it’s built into the main release knob. A very useful bubble level is featured as well on the top of it. I do lot of "vloging" for my YouTube channel, and since I bought it, this tripod now follows me everywhere I go

  I give 4 stars on "light weight" but I have to say it is really not fair to compare such a solidly built product against those cheap prodcuts that use flemsy materials. but I am strong guy, that much weight is really nothing to me when I already wield a 10+ pound camera, to some people it might be a bit much.  I give 5 stars on "travel", it comes with a bag and a pouch so you can hang the tripod off your belt or your backpack.  all the joints are twists, not lever, but it's fine

I recently replaced my old - similarly priced - tripod with this one. I didn't want to spend more than $40 but at the same time, I didn't want a piece of junk or one I would regret getting. I primarily use this as a videographer who likes to carry and use as little gear as possible.  In comparison, I find this to be more compact, lighter, and to have a much more versatility as well - with regards to the head
