Help! Gretsch Energy or Ludwig Accent

I own this China purely as a means to beat up and practice on instead of using and cracking my nice cymbals. So I didn't have too high expectations for this china cymbal going in as I just need something to hit. Despite that, I was pretty stunned at how bad this thing sounds even just as a practice tool. It practically has no decay and just sounds very dull

I've played various budget chinas throughout my years of drumming and they at least have some sort of decent trashy response but this is by far the worst I've ever played. This thing should only be worth $20 and I would not recommend it outside the application I described above

Depending on what the cymbals are that’s not a bad price. Try and negotiate a little. I agree on the Zildjian Z. Those are METAL AS FUCK lol
