I was getting a lot of ads from Purple and eyed their 4inch premium hybrid for $3k. I had really high hopes and was excited so I went to Mattress Firm to try it out and..

I then tried a bunch of other mattress and I don’t really know what I was looking for. Like I understand the whole idea of pressure points and wanting to “hug” your sides but for basically all the mattresses I tried, I felt they were comfortable and “okay”. I was pretty indifferent. Nothing blew me away

I am moving out of my childhood home and into my own apartment and I have some cash saved up and am looking to splurge on a nice mattress.

Obviously, I prefer paying as little as possible but I don’t mind splurging up to $4000 if the mattress is worth it.

 Baring that, I do not understand why Amazon and Zinus would risk selling a sleep product lined with tiny loose glass fibers. Definitely not a gamble I'm going to take with my son's health.  * I gave my review 3 stars because the mattress itself seems good and everything we hoped it would be as a mattress and also so that people will read this review and be able to make their own decision and not just skip it thinking it's some unreasonably irate person who can't believe this $200 mattress isn't as comfy as their $3,000 Tempur-Pedic.

Mattress cover is lined with FIBERGLASS. Yes, tiny loose glass fibers. I know, I still can't believe it either

I am looking for an affordable replacement for our guest bed. We are currently expecting and I want to put a bed in the nursery for my husband and I to use during the early months and/or any of our family members who may visit to help. We are looking to buy a queen bed.

Anything under $500 and firm that isn't shite? I'd just buy another green tea Queen mattress but it won't ship till like June or something.

I need something very firm because I can only sleep on my stomach. I get bad apnea on my back, left side are all broken ribs, and right side I have trouble breathing.

I am currently comparing between the Helix Midnight or Twilight, the DreamCloud Luxury Hybrid and the Saatva Classic. I am leaning towards a luxury firm feel and most definitely a hybrid, I don't trust full memory foam or latex anymore. Can anyone offer any insight?

 I have slept on a few firm mattresses lately and they have been life-changing. My favorite mattress so far has been a bed at the Grand Hyatt.

 While my pain isn't gone it's much better, and I think it will go away given more time with this new bed. My review is definitely a positive one. For 179$ and arriving in 2 days I'm very pleased. Included are 3 photos the last photo shows me sitting on the edge of the bed showing how much it goes down with my weight, and that I don't know why people say you can't sit on the sides I can't sit on any side any corner no issues

 I did however break down and climb on to see how it feels. I am on a pillow top mattress currently that is roughly 6-8 years old and has been causing me a lot of pain in my shoulder and hip as I am a side sleeper. Just laying on this bed for a few minutes its much firmer than my current bed, and so very comfortable. I will leave a more through review once I have actually slept in it for a few nights
