Ball bearings were also slightly tight on new opening. Overall I haven't tested longevity yet but am hopeful that it matches the 2x price vs the very similar knifes civivi sells. I'll update the review after I use it a bit and see how it holds up to a working knifes job. It might just be better to grab two cheaper versions

The plunger is milled down less than a 1/16 inch this will fail before a liner lock would. Civivi knives are all show and no go. If you want a nice Chinese knife at a cheap price Petrified Fish is a better deal. Civivi - WE knives are over priced
