This is the third Corsair product I've encountered issues with, either within a very short amount of time using or out of the box. The wireless function of the headset is nice and convenient, the headset is comfortable, and the audio quality is good AFTER installing iCUE and setting your preferences. The battery life is abysmal. My product had issues out of the box, where it will not charge beyond 78% regardless of how long it is charging, and the battery drains at what seems like a very quick pace (two hours and half that 78% charge is gone)

Combined with the other problems I had with other Corsair products, I would not in good faith recommend buying this or any other of their products

Never buying another Corsair product again

 I can unplug them in the morning and be absolutely certain they will get me through a full work day. If I forget to charge them at night, they will still be fine for at least a few hours the next morning. Their connectivity has been rock solid - never disconnected unless I disconnect them by walking too far away, and then reconnecting instantly. I also love the flip-up micr acting as a mute switch not visible to others on a Zoom call

 I had a Logitech headset with a non-Bluetooth dongle that was pretty good, but the battery always died before the end of the day - I had to be sure to charge them in any downtime during the day.  These are not worth the price at all.  I typically buy headphones that I can switch between gaming and recording audio on, and I can already tell that trying to record music with these is going to be useless. I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Let me start by saying that I use these for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare on PS4. They fit just fine, but they get really hot around the ears easily. The sound quality on these things sucks terribly bad, extremely low volume with absolutely no bass at all. You can hardly hear other gamers talk, and the mic quality sucks just as bad too

Works, Painful to Pair

Love this headset! I have a newborn at home and these are perfect for work calls since I am working from home. it is noise cancelling enough and I love that the microphone mutes automatically when you lift it up so if i need to yell something out at home, no one on the call can hear. Would highly recommend

 This is a review of a gaming headset from Corsair that I've already unboxed and I've also done a comparison, video to compare it with the Corsair virtuoso, which is a headset that I unboxed and reviewed recently. That'S worth taking a look at as well and I'll link to those videos in the description, but this is a review to give you my thoughts on the headset and what I think it's like, and also to talk about. The various features I'll include the specifications in the description, but I'm going to talk about some of them before we get started and let you know that the audio you're hearing the voice over for this video is recorded with the microphone just so you can get an Idea of the quality of that now, I'm not gon na do any editing to the sound. For example, when I was just talking to you, then I press that to turn the mic mute on, so I turn the mic off and then, when I turn it back on again side tone was off, so I could couldn't hear myself

 Has a good range. It'S fantastic for music. One of the points of note immediately is: it is ridiculously loud. This headset top volume would probably definite it goes very, very loud and is impressive

 Well they sound like crap. I had the volume dial all the way up and the sound on my PC at 100 and they're at about what 60% would be on my Logitech or Cloud Flights. You can barely tell a difference between the surround sound mode and normal stereo mode.  Sorry, JBL

The JBL Quantum 800&nbsp;are okay wireless gaming headphones.   Those are the only 2 problems that I have. There might only be two, but those two are a HUGE deal breaker for me. Unless JBL can fix this, then this headphones is a just a waste of money, time and resources.

Audio Quality is good and creates 2 sound devices in windows. You can target your game to "Game" and your discord chat to "Chat" and then control the audio levels of both on the headset itself.   Pros: Stellar sound quality: (soundstage is small because they are closed back but imaging is top notch.) Even on warzone where many other wireless headsets get muddy these maintain their separation and footsteps where accurate and audible.  Solid build quality: they are not light but nowhere near heavy. Earpads are so stinky soft and the memory foam is some of the best I've seen

  Final thoughts: buy this headphones if you're in the market for a well built and excellent sounding wireless headset. Do not buy it for the ANC or the mic because these just aren't the best implementations of either. Also do not buy at the MSRP of $200. Anything south of that price and these are a steal!

Honestly, I was very hesitant to purchase these after reading sooner if the reviews saying that they were heavy, poorly made, broken software etc. but I bought them regardless (at the discounted price of $159) they seemed like they would be worth the gamble. So, are they good? Plainly, absolutely they are excellent especially at that price. At $159 there isn't another headset that is even in the same league

 I don't know who decided that was a good design choice, but it's flat out wrong. This issue is complicated by the fact that the headset cannot make it through an entire day of use - generally only about 6 to 7 hours worth of calls, at which point I have to fall back on another headset.  I'd been able to forgive all of that if the USB receiver didn't stop working, less than one year after I bought it. I can still use their Bluetooth connection, but I discovered that the on board volume functions don't seem to work with Bluetooth (which is also a strange choice) and it's not as quick to swap between computers

I bought these headphones last fall and they've been my main headphones for work and gaming since then. They're very comfortable, their noise cancellation is extremely successful, and the software offers a decent amount of customization if you're interested in doing so (though the software is a bit convoluted to work with). I've gotten complements on the (noticeable) light show from co-workers during video calls too.  #1 problem: You cannot charge the headset while it's being used

So i rarely review things but this headset has earned it. The sound quality is stunning for the price point. The big reason for this review is the update issues the software updates fine but updating the firmware i ran into all the issues others have posted about. I spent 3 days working with it and trying to get it to go through on the headset

First of all, I bought this headset a couple of hours ago. And thought it was gonna be a blast sadly I'm kinda disappointed atm.

First of all the white noise/sound in the background, I seem to sadly have the same issue as many others the static sound in the background, Did anyone find a fix for this. I first thought it was my own headset that was "broken" so I went to the store and got a replacement but apparently it was the same thing. As soon as you turn on the headset you hear it. Doesn't matter if it's connected to the computer or if ur using a cable what so ever. I love logitech I have a full "gpro" setup with keyboard, mouse and now headset. I've never had such issues before is there anyway you can actually fix this?

Also for some reason Dolby "DTS Headphone:X" Isn't working at all I can't enable it either what so ever. I tried reinstalling all the drivers removing old ones from the device manager etc and nothing seems to work. 

Is there any fix for either of my issues it would be much appreciated.

G PRO X WIRELESS HEADSETT ISSUES

1) Stupid price, (make it half the price of the HD800, in the same way a 6XX is less than half the price of a 650).

2) Sennheiser peacing out, so after your warranty with Drop expires after a year, you're literally 100% fucked (haven't kept up with the news, so correct me if they made it two years or w/e). Drop doesn't offer ANY kind of servicing, they will totally replace any unit of any items they sell if it's warranty is active. Sennheiser on the other hand won't touch Drop variants AT ALL, warranty active or not. So on top of them now leaving the game essentially, you wouldn't be able to even put a fist to their face and get them to service it

Stupid treble rape piece of shit bass-distorting driver that's no better than their THD metric of the bass for the 600-series.
