 Ironically is that they use Ykk Rc zippers, which are their most abrasion resistant zippers that they make. I went out and looked at my other bags and I didn't see that little Rc label on any of my bags, even like the really stupid expensive ones. Maybe they just don't have it labeled, but this one is very clearly labeled. Now if you don't know they, they're labeled on the inside

Evergoods Civic Half Zip 22L - Long Term Review [2021]

Evergoods says they're made to do this: go from the office to the mountains. Their bags even have shoulder strap pass thru's for a water bladder tube! But as much as i love my CHZ22, without a breathable mesh back, i'd be hard pressed to take it on a long hike. On warmer days, its definitely not been the most cooling back there.

So far the only one I could find in that category is the Osprey Nebula, but amazon reviews seem to complain about quality issues in long term use.
Any experiences with it or alternatives are appreciated.

 Um, so just keep that in mind, It is something that's noticeable and something that you have to deal with every time you want to get your laptop out of the back. So in conclusion, right, the Evergood Civic half zip 22 liter backpack is it worth it? Would I recommend it? And the answer to that is a resounding yes. Now of course there might be some nuance, Um, whether or not this is the type of back for you when it comes to format. So like a half zip backpack

 Um, it's a very interesting choice, but I think a very good choice. You've got a really nice, uh, sternum strap or harness system right here Again, simple but utilitarian in typical ever good and you've got a very sturdy back panel and I believe that there is an insert here to make sure that it keeps in shape and all of that stuff. So you've got fantastic ergonomics on this bag. Typical, every good you know

Great travel backpack

 Plus, the Osprey is unable to stand upright on its own (due to not having a flat bottom) and the Tortuga can. Thus, making it easy to put the bag down on the floor when not carrying it.  -comfortable carry-on bag that is designed as a minimal backpack. Can be incognito from budget airlines and can blend into a crowd of people in a city without looking like a tourist

 Though the Osprey had a better harness/waist strap system, but for the size of bag, the Tortuga's removable waist straps works just fine. Most times I don't even use the waist straps unless I know I will be walking for over 20+ minutes. Plus, the Osprey is unable to stand upright on its own (due to not having a flat bottom) and the Tortuga can. Thus, making it easy to put the bag down on the floor when not carrying it

I was torn between this and the Osprey Farpoint 40L. After trying both of them out, the Tortuga won. Though the Osprey had a better harness/waist strap system, but for the size of bag, the Tortuga's removable waist straps works just fine. Most times I don't even use the waist straps unless I know I will be walking for over 20+ minutes

Best Travel Backpack

 Bag was comfortable and secure, travelled well around the city and doesn’t seem as big as it is. Highly recommend for travelers who want a lot of room but don’t want to check a bag. If you don’t have inserts of your own you might want to buy them to help maintain shape structure but overall highly recommended.

I took the 45L bag from the US to Rio and back as a carry-on bag. No issues from the airlines and I had the bag full to max weight with equipment and clothing. Bag was comfortable and secure, travelled well around the city and doesn’t seem as big as it is. Highly recommend for travelers who want a lot of room but don’t want to check a bag
