Gregory Juno 24L vs TRIP PACK AEVOR

There is nothing wrong stopping when we feel we need some water. Stopping is, and has always been, a way to relax on the trail. I do not understand the obsession with non-stop walking and a need for taking sips from a tube. I get it, some people do like this technology, but this pack should have offered the option for carrying decent water bottle for those who dislike being intubated!

They felt too small and aren't very useful once the compression strap is used. Instead, I clipped my 32oz water bottle somewhere with a carabiner. The bag isn't water resistant or water proof so you would need to get a rain cover if you are planning on using it in the rain for any long duration/hiking. If that is the case, I would get a rain cover even if my bag waterproof/water resistant

not a big deal. Plus, you want a snug fit with your gear as the load carries closer to your back, therefore more efficient at carrying the load..

The shape of the bag looks awkward from a profile This Bag would look alot better if it was upside down with a top slash pocket In conclusion I'll say this, Kelty should stop making their bags from 420D polyester and start using 420d ripstop nylon or higher on their bags. Make the next Redwing 44 carry on size like it use to be, and add a longer torso length with some hip belt pockets also the inner lining of your bags should be made of 75-100d nylon, its pretty weak right now. And then I'll go back to being your customer in the blink of an eye .

The two slot pockets on the flap(top) are okay for laptops or tablets, but are generally too thin and deep for other use. The inner compartment only has a flat mesh pocket, also part of the flap (top). An small inner pocket at the top or side would be nice for inner organization Maybe a slit pocket at the bottom to conceal small items, passports? There are inner straps to control the load horizontally. I'd like to have at least one vertical inner strap with different attachment points for greater stability and compacting

I bought this backpack after researching several others and chose it for the reviews on a comfortable fit and the higher amount of pockets for storage that it has. I wasn't disappointed. I have already hiked 25 miles with it in just two weeks and I love the fit. I don't even realize I am wearing it most of the time, it is that comfortable

The size and organization layout are proper and good, but wearing as a backpack for travel is not comfortable to me. Fabric and build quality are first rate, but something is lacking in ergonomics imho.

Only thing I do not like is the hip belt zipper. I can not close it completely with one hand and it seems like simply making the zipper straight instead of rounded would fix it. The round zipper seams like it is more for aesthetics than function.

Here's what I loved: 1) Excellent workmanship with tough materials. It's built very well and inspires confidence. Materials are first-class and zippers are tough and precise. 2) Extremely comfortable

Note: even though my Samsung S9+ with a thin case would fit inside the side pocket when the pocket is lying flat, they wouldn't fit when worn on the body due to the curved nature of the waist line. Con: this is a major one for me. The shoulder straps are uncomfortable: the end of the padded straps and the buckles form a hard bulge that rub against my inner upper arms and side breast area, right below the armpits. I have never experienced this with other Gregory day packs before

It's hard to describe without actually seeing it, but if you're careful and take your time rolling the panel up then you'll avoid that from happening. Another reason why I didn't give the Farpoint 40 5 stars is because you're stuck with the hip straps. Unlike the Venturesafe 45 or other bags similar to this one bag carry-on backpack, the Farpoint 40 hip belt doesn't tuck away anywhere. I know I won't always want to use them, especially since the shoulder pads distribute the weight so well

I have tried many packs over the years and none of them fit as good as this. I’m a short 5’2” little old lady with a short waist. I’m not petite though so it’s really hard to find something that fits right. Gregory Juno 24 got it right

It was TSA compliant for carry on. Again, I am sure it will work for me other than airport travel, and quality top notch.
