Switching from MacBook to Chromebook: A year later

Speakers and keyboard are fantastic, battery life is brilliant for me. It's a 360° convertible, has stylus support, and will get automatic updates until June 2028.

I am totally blind, so I use a screen reader to access the Internet.

Fortunately, Google has a built-in screen reader called chrome vox which allows me to access the Internet pretty well, it's not software I'm concerned about though its  hardware.

It's difficult to find a chrome book that meets my needs because most reviews focus on display quality and camera quality, which are things which are not particularly important to me.

Essentially, I'm looking for a device with long battery life, good speakers I can't stand the tinny speakersyou get on most laptops and having used the iPad I don't think I could ever go back to listening to that tinny sound from laptop speakers again, a touchscreen and a good selection of USB and microSD card ports.

I would also like it to be either foldable so I can use it as a tablet, or commas to separate pieces like a tablet and a keyboard.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

So much boils down to your preferences when it comes to keyboards, especially if you plan to type a lot. I'd highly recommend visiting a Best Buy or similar store to try them before purchasing. I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 and I like the backlit keyboard a lot but some think it doesn't have enough travel. It's such a personal choice, it's hard to make recommendations

Any suggestions on what I should get? Not looking to spend the big bucks, but want something with a comfortable keyboard and good screen. Doesn’t need to even be a huge screen if the keyboard is good.

Edit: couple things forgot. Lots of storage isn’t a necessity since I store a lot on the Drive.

I need to vent. I have a Galaxy Chromebook, 1st edition with 256 GB internal storage. I love this, super thin, light, easy to take everywhere, an absolute pleasure to use partially due to its luxury feel and its speed. However, I have 2 complaints
