HP Omen 15 vs MSI GS66 Stealth

Two things first for full disclosure. One, I should say that as much as I like it, I might be sending it back because there is a problem with the GPU. There is a single white dot that looks like a stuck pixel on the screen, but it always renders on whatever you set the primary screen, even when you change monitors, resolutions, etc. It only appears when the Nvidia GPU is in use though

Nearly 10 hours of battery life from a gaming notebook, especially one packing an eight-core CPU, is remarkable. This kind of unplugged life gives the Omen 15 an undeniable measure of practicality. Its ability to automatically switch off its dedicated Nvidia graphics card in favor of the CPU's integrated Radeon graphics is a leading reason it can last so long.

This never happens. It never switches to charging the battery again. According to MSI's Dragon Center software, it doesn't even register the adapter is plugged in to the laptop once it's stopped charging. The battery just stays uncharged and draining until I physically remove the power adapter from the outlet and plug it back in
