iRobot Roomba i7+ vs Proscenic M7 Pro

Unfortunately, the map will have to be generated again (third time) but he assures me it will be a much smoother process this time. If so, I expect to give it 4 stars. It's not getting 5 stars until I can more easily generate a map and they can allow indefinite (or at least 24 hour) job delays so I can suspend cleaning overnight and have it pick up where it left off the next. So far cleaning has been adequate but could be better; I assume the "better" would come from the S9 with its greater suction

I'm impressed with how this vacuum maps a room and then efficiently cleans it. It cleaned the entire first floor of my house without having to recharge or empty it. I did purchase the automatic dust & dirt bin and that seems to work well with the vacuum. I don't plan on using the mopping feature so I'm unable to provide a review on that feature

1. It is very loud when cleaning. As both my wife and I work from home I quickly learned that it can not be run during the day because it is just too loud and distracting. I also found that I couldn't run it in the evenings as it made TV watching unbearable

Also, I believe this was noisier than the S4. It is about $200 more expensive than the S4. I am returning this and resuming using the RoboRock S4. Incidentally, I am told it a software update soon to come they allow the S4 to do multifloor mapping anyway
