I also can not use the function where you look at the photos with my iphone 11 pro max. I was finally able to do the set up using my OLD ipad air 2. I find it unacceptable that the app will not work for one of the main features or to set it up, using my newish Iphone on the latest iOS software. In talking to other users this problem is common

The other issues is they do not support their own replacement parts. The App says time to replace filters and brushes but when you try to buy replacement parts they have been out of stock for months and tech support cannot provide an eta. Good vacuum but lousy back end support and be carful on solid wood floors, place a plastic or rubber mat under the vacuum before charging

Having two points for the dust to exit creates poor suction and I ALWAYS have to empty the dust bin manually. It always dies out in the middle of the house, and is constantly getting stuck. The app is nice but it will randomly wipe our map away like we have never used it before. The battery dies SO fast that if I want it to clean our entire first floor (We live in a 1,800 sqft home so maybe 1,200 sqft) I have to run it on low suction which I feel like barely makes a difference

* **No Different suction powers for different rooms**: I can't tell the Wyze vacuum to use "high" power on one room and "low" power on another. * **Annoying "snap to grid" behavior when dividing rooms**: It's hard to make clean 90 degree when separating rooms because the diving lines keep "snapping".

What worked for me to help sort out some kinks with the robot cleaning and it’s job success rate was doing a mapping run right after getting the update. Sorted out all the kinks in how well it performed.

Sometimes it would barely leave home base. It cleaned my tiny kitchen but, instead of the 5 minutes it usually takes, it took 45 minutes because it did it in circles. It made a perfect quick map but then would only clean in circles. I reset it, No joy

For now, I say, if you have the funds, and you don't have the time to regularly vacuum, this is worth the price.

Overall, I feel this is the best “bang for your buck” with robot vacuums. Our old roomba was awful, cleaned in very obscure patterns. More or less, it went forward until it made contact with something then turned and repeated over, and over, and over again until it would die in the middle of the room.

iRobot does not release suction power stats but says that the j7 is 10 times stronger than its entry-level Roomba 600, whereas the s9 is 40 times stronger. The j7 is just fine for regular dirt and debris, and even if you have more challenging tasks (copious kitty litter, for example), it’s hard to recommend the $250 upgrade to the s9, as you don’t get the obstacle navigation features. In my testing of the s9, it routinely fell prey to socks and charging cables.

I ordered this product last week and it arrived a few days later. I ordered the combination that had extra filters, rollers, and brushes since I have 4 kids and 4 animals in my home. I should mention, I have a German Shepherd that is constantly shedding and a long-haired Siamese cat. Between these two animals, I should sweep daily, but I don't have that kind of time, so I splurged on the Roomba

My main complaint is that the dust bin is small and the opening to it gets easily clogged by pet hair. This is a major flaw so I was on the fence on lowering this review to three stars. On my other two Robot Vacs they can go two cleanings usually before the bin needs to be emptied. With the Wyze if I am home I try to stop it half way through the first cleaning to empty the bin because of the pet hair issue
