It handles thick, polyphonic music passages with ease without distortion…while keeping the main melody/vocals volume and tone quality still cutting through with warmth

Unfortunately, their charging cable is built into the case, which can help you keep track of it but means you need to replace the headphones if it gets damaged. Like most headphones without ANC, they also don't do a good job isolating you from bass-range noise like rumbling engines. That said, they're effective at reducing mid-range noise like chatty co-workers, which is nice if you want to reduce distractions at work.

If you are a travelling person that is exposed to lots of noisy situations the qc15 or the and-9's are the better fit for you. I myself transit much of the time. I would consider [Audio Technica its $180 usd on Amazon and has the luxury of being wireless but with the option for a wired connection as well. They are more neutral sound wise but i go running in them while mainly listening to deep house, hip hop and a little bit of soul, i find the bass isn't really lacking and the isolation is pretty good but if they are a bit bright and or the isolation isn't quite where you want you could look into getting some replacement pads like Dekoni elite sheepskins later down the line to increase both bass and isolation

I love my TOZO T6’s (form factor wise the nearest on the list I mentioned, to the same form factor as these)… but these just seem to fit a little better. Update a few days later (after writing the prior paragraph) – these while they have fallen out from time to time… these are very comfortable. When using them for sleep (whatever side of my head faces the pillow if “side sleeping” doesn’t have an earbud in) … they are more comfortable then the TOZO T6’s I have used for the same thing before and with these there are times I barely know they are there, and I really like that. - Build quality – I will not say these have “great” build quality
