If you're looking for something cheaper and you aren't going to take advantage of the gaming features of the Sony X85K, then a lower mid-range model like the Samsung QN43Q60BAFXZA is a good alternative. Its picture quality is similar to the Sony model, as it has the same fantastic contrast and remarkable black uniformity but lacks a local dimming feature. Although it has worse reflection handling, it still gets bright enough to fight glare in rooms with a few lights around.

Its built-in Tizen smart interface is very easy to use and has a huge selection of streaming apps, so you can easily find your favorite content. The mic in the remote gives you access to Google Assistant, Bixby, and Alexa, so you can choose the voice assistant you prefer. One of the downsides of this TV is that while it displays a wide range of colors in HDR, its HDR peak brightness is just okay, so it doesn't deliver the best HDR experience, but that's what you have to expect for a TV in this price range.

 All the screen sizes for this model are only 1 inch deep, except for the 85 inch, which is 1.1. And they look great if you decide to hang them on the wall. If you're not wall-mounting, you do get pedestal legs in the box that can be set up in either a low-profile or a soundbar position without needing any tools

 It's got a tiny bezel that runs around the screen, and then on the back you've got all of your connections. Starting off are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for wireless connectivity. Then there's two USBs, an optical output, ethernet, an antenna connection, and finally three HDMI's, which are all 2.0, and number two is where you'll find your enhanced audio return channel

 There's also a web browser, and you get multi-view, which lets you watch two different sources at the same time. And if you have a compatible webcam, you can even set this up to use with the Google Duo app for video calls. Then there's the picture. The Q60B is an edge-lit 60Hz panel that uses Samsung's dual LED technology powered by the quantum processor Lite 4K, and it all comes together very nicely

 Next we have the operating system, and this one, just like the other Samsung models for 2022, uses the refreshed version of Tizen with a full-screen interface. Pressing the home button on the included solar-powered remote is going to bring up a line of apps across the top, and then underneath that are several rows of suggested content. It's not necessarily the most attractive of the operating systems out there, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Plus, it gets the job done, and it's easy to use, which are more important factors anyways

2022 Samsung Q60B Series QLED Overview

TV is great, good resolution. Only defect is that need more streaming apps like Hulu and others. But overall great TV.

 Some items are ambiguous (maybe it's under this one?), and I find myself searching for things and when I finally find them, the controls are often limited.  It's 2022, I just bought a quality TV from a previously adored and promoted-by-me brand, and I'm super pissed. My buddy's LG is much better, and I'm now going to add a fricking Roku to a TV that is state of the art. And for a 43" I could have gotten an off-name brand with awesome pic and Roku built in, for half the price!!!! Lesson Learned!  Boo to Samsung on this

There are a few others that can't be dropped, but can be moved.  4- Despite trying to follow the trend to smaller remotes, they missed the mark. People want quick access to things. Mute should ALWAYS have it's own button, not remembering to press and hold a specific button to mute it

 Other than the big ones, the variety is disappointing, even in the music section.  3- I do not buy a TV outright only to have the manufacturer decide what I CAN'T remove. Devoted Samsung Fan - DISAPPOINTED!!!!

We upgraded from an eight year old LCD HD monitor to our Samsung 4K, not a single regret over the money spent.  The picture quality is top notch, it integrated perfectly with our various media players and is an all around great performer.  The smart functions work fantastically.  Just an all around great product and upgrade

Best TV upgrade I’ve made yet

The set up for this TV wasn’t awful, but Ivwas hoping for a more intuitive experience. We were able to get Netflix and Amazon Prime figured out with some patience. So far, we haven’t figured out Disney+.  Maybe I need to make adjustments in the TV settings, but the picture only seems a touch better than our 4-5 year old Samsung UHD

Have a 900h and its very reliable. I haven't upgraded it since I bought it, so still don't have 4k120 but I don't need that. Using a vizio M-AIO soundbar with earc also works well

Imo, don't buy an oled. 10-12 hours a day and you have kids, it's a no no.

Go for the x950h. Or if you can wait, go for the x95j if the reviews are good.

I have a 65 LG C9 OLED and its on the news for hours a day for over a year. No signs of burn in.

I've also gamed alot too. I think burn in is the MINORITY not the MAJORITY when it comes to OLED. There's obviously a chance, but people who's TV's work perfectly probably arent as vocal on forums and stuff. Just my 2 cents. I'd go OLED for sure. Best TV ever

If you're going to use the 10-12 hours a day I'd go with the Sony X950H. My fiance and I love our A8H, but there's so many thing we don't watch it on it. Sports, Twitch, News, Spotify etc. If I'm listening to Spotify or a long playlist on YouTube, I turn off the screen immediately. If something has bright static images on it, we'll watch that on our older non OLED Sony 4K. Gaming is important to me because I have a Switch, PS5, XSX, and gaming PC. If I want to game for 8-9 hour, I can do it freely on our older Sony 4K. If you don't want to be paranoid with your TV, grab the Sony X950H.

The cx is 10000 times better than the 900h in literally every single category. The Sony might have better tv os but that’s it. You shouldn’t compare them at all personally.

I just made this exact same decision!

I bought a 75 900H and then a 65 LG CX to compare.
Watched the same stuff side by side and the LG looks amazing. When the LG is off, the Sony looks really good too. 

Paid just a bit more for the LG and I think the Sony is going back. The difference is really striking when you compare them. It wasn’t an easy decision though as the Sony is 10” larger + cheaper.

The CX is no doubt the better TV but you have to ask yourself why you're getting a TV to begin with.

The CX is amazing for films, dark room performance and gaming, but any ol' TV is going to do the job just fine for the kids on YouTube. I'd be worried about burn in also. 

In your situation I would probably be looking at the TCL P635 if I'm honest. It's good for gaming, and it's cheaper than a X900H. It's a good workhorse set with good all round performance.

Couldn’t be happier with the LG CX. I don’t have a lot of money to throw around so I put A LOT of time into researching the specs about 8 months ago. CX was the best out there and it’s held up for me so far.

Best Buy has a 5 year Geek Squad warranty so if there is any screen burn in they’ll replace it, and if the tv is discontinued and has any issues that calls for it to be replaced, they will put the cost of your tv towards a brand new one of your choice.

Between my wife and myself its used > 10 hrs daily. Besides couple of hours for morning news its used mostly in streaming Netflix/Hulu/Disney+ (HBOMax via Roku). Weekends I use it for a few hours with Xbox. Almost a year in on LG CX. No regrets.

I got a 55 LG cx for 1225 before tax. The ui sucks and whoever designed it should get fired. Besides that can't complain much. Also I'm willing to take the hit if burn in does happen.

I debated the cx oled vs 900h and was in the same predicament. My 10 and 5 year old love youtube and its impossible to babysit the TV at work and the Wife doesn't care much, along with my gaming up to 5 or 6 days a week up to 5 or 6 hours and only playing the same few games.
Concerned about longevity and last upgrade was almost 10 years ago I knew the x900h would suit my needs.
65 inch and its beautiful. Oled is definitely a tier up but I'll let the be my next upgrade as the tech gets more perfected and the overall price comes down as they become more accessible in 5-6 years.

I’m really impressed with the lg cx reviews and have nearly pulled the trigger a couple times. The only reason I haven’t is I’m scared or burn in. My kids like to watch YouTube all the time and my wife does Hulu/Netflix, and I’m a occasional gamer nothing hardcore but between all of us the tv is probably on at least 10-12 hours a day which is why I worry about burn in. So would you recommend I go for the x900h as I won’t have to worry about that or stick with the cx?
