I love all the compartments, the make sense! I plan on using this for hiking and work. I take mass transit and wanted something big enough to carry everything on my back without feeling weighed down. This pack has nice weight distribution with a sternal and waist buckle. The back is well padded

the padding is more on the firmer side which i like because it doesn't seem like the padding will wear out as fast. the laptop compartment is amazing. super cushy and a generous false bottom with a bit of structure in the back panel makes me feel very confident my laptop is protected. I wish they gave just a touch more room in the tablet sleeve though
