 this is mine. Um, you get a single and double spell I want to do first for the minimum I'll just run about 6 second just moving and that just makes sure that every shots pretty much exactly the right temperature will run a shot. Now the production minima. yeah, I was reaching for the leave Russ so used to leaders on the side of the grid

 the copies. they fought with them and interestingly he cupped there was one that was in the roaster 20 seconds only longer than the other one in the pumping of the coffee's to try and determine the right price level. I felt the slightly lighter one would be better and he felt the slightly longer roasted one would be better then. Interestingly, this is the slightly longer roasted one and it definitely is better in the cup than the one I was drinking last week which is slightly lighter roasted so just shows the danger of perhaps relying too much on what you cut out of a roaster within perhaps a very short period of resting, the coffee coffee really changes a great deal for the week after roasting

 it's grabs and 32 seconds. That's a pretty good shot, right? And it was set to 93 degrees as well. Yeah, looks okay and it's actually not a bad. Brazilian this a Coca-cola Not remarkable, but not bad

Was thinking to buy my 1st espresso machine, have been making (and enjoying) my own coffee for the past 18months now (thanks to the pandemic).

Did french presses, and Mokapots, V60 and latest addition is Aeropress.

However, I am now missing badly my favourite of them all (Cappucinos or Cortados because I am fancy like that)

Thus I have been researching for about 3 months now on which espresso maker I should go.

Criterias:
1. It has to be a long term investment, which means budget is somewhat flexible (below $1,500 please)
2. It should be good for 2 shots a day (morning and afternoon) 
3. It should be future proof (can grow alongside me as a better espresso maker), which means entry machine is a no go because I think I will just waste money upgrading after 2 year or so
4. Ability to steam milk (nothing too crazy like super wand power etc., normal steaming is good enough I am not trying to be a barista)

Some products I am considering:

1. La Pavoni Levers (not sure which type yet)
2. Lelit gang (Elizabeth / Mara X)
3. Other recommendations ?


Currently I am leaning towards Pavoni for 2 main reason(s)
1. I heard it is built like a tank ( won't need to recycle for decades hopefully)
2. I like the simplicity since it's manual (less things to maintain etc.)

 That is one of the reasons I was drawn to the Minima as we live on Maui. We expect it to last a very long time (unlike our Breville that died after 3 years). We are very happy with the ACS Minima sold by Lorenzotti Italy and feel fortunate to own one.

I will use it to make a few espressos per day at home. Not very experienced although I have used an espresso machine for a while. The most important criterion is that it is durable and I can use it for a very long time (rest of my life ;) ). Do you have any suggestions?
