 I Feel that for a starter mech, or just for someone that doesn’t want to splash out the big bucks on one,, this is a great choice. It Kind of brings that somewhat niche vibe with it, because of the layout, and keycaps, so that’ll be quite foreign to a lot of people. But Yeh, wireless. It actually has Bluetooth which is something that a lot of other people seek

 The Case is decent for a plastic case. The Bezels are slim, but cover the switches to give a high profile look. And It has a kind of sparkly finish to it. There is a slight natural inclination to the keyboard to give it some angle

 The Legends are clean and simple as well,, but the black isn’t that deep, and it’s somewhat light looking, which in my opinion makes it a bit less nice. And These are Cherry profile, which is another fan favourite, being slightly shorter than the typical OEM caps, and are just more comfortable in my opinion. The Case is decent for a plastic case. The Bezels are slim, but cover the switches to give a high profile look

 The One tiny disadvantage of such a layout, is that if you want to replace the keycaps, you’ll need some 1u keys here, and the typical 1.75u right shift key, but these are in most aftermarket keysets that are even worth replacing these. Because These are pretty nice. They’re dye sublimated PBT plastic, so they should be quite durable overtime

 This product is very well built and comfortable. The only downside is that it is not that quick when switching Bluetooth devices, but not enough to bother me. Overall great keyboard.

I doubt it. It's not like people who have the gmmk pro will replace it with a q1. Keychron is just cheaper and doesn't have a rotary encoder.

Im still probably going to buy the gmmk over the Keychron. I like the muted thocky sound and dont really have a preference for flex when typing. Also the built-in rotary is a plus

The main flaw of the Keychron Q1 is that it sounds just as hollow as my Keychron C1 not to mention the insane ping. But at least the gasket mount actually functions this time

Biggest difference for me right now is that Glorious is offering free shipping. Keychron wants $30. Which winds up making the Q1 more expensive.

Keychron Is the first brand providing at least 3 varieties of PBT ISO and multilingual sets. Even though the quality isn't on top, they got me.
I'm from Italy and I just can't 100% live with an ANSI.

It's surprised me a lot that Keychron really got into this mech keebs hobby deeper. Another contender for GMMK Pro so there will be a competition to make the better keyboard.

Not a bad thing, more entry level boards is great. The Q1 has plenty of potential and sounds great modded.

Very disappointed in this product. Lagging, Bluetooth connectivity issues, for the price I paid I expected for this keyboard to at least have reliable connections. This was my first mechanical keyboard and it has been disappointing.

Then buy a 4000mah battery from an online supplier and you are good to go. 1st issue: backlight on a few keys cannot be turned on. Sent request to keychron, (within warranty) and ultimately they told me to find a replacement board FROM THE SUPPLIER. Absolutely horrendous customer service and my keyboard has a few keys not lighting up

After I have another problem with 2 Keychron keyboards, I start to feel that I want to look for another brand, but I can't seem to find a Bluetooth mech keyboard with a huge battery like Keychron for Mac. 

The question would be

1. Am I just unlucky, or the quality of Keychron is not that good?
2. How long does yours last? 

Note: I bought 2 of them 1-2 years ago. One for using at work, and one for using at home. I baby them as I only use them for typing shortly. No backlight on, and never game or even keep the cables plugged.

Is this board compatible with the [Kailh hotswap sockets](https://kprepublic.com/products/kailh-hot-swapping-pcb-sockets-for-mx-cherry-gateron-outemu-kailh-switches-for-xd75-series-smd-socket) also being sold on that site? And is this socket compatible with the [T1 switch](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000332206210.html)?

What keyboard can I buy in the $100-$200 range that is known as incredibly reliable?  Spending so much money on keyboards and having them not perform their basic function is pretty annoying.

I saw a [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/i8cxbl/ymdk_split_64_blue_zilents_v2_62g_domikey_sa/) of one that really interested me, and i found it on [amazon](https://www.amazon.com/YMDK-Aluminum-Socket-Underglow-Programmable/dp/B07W6VXX2M?th=1), but I'm wary because I've got no experience with soldering. I dunno if this would require that, or what kind of maintenance it would take -- any recommendations?
