We measured the unstretched circumference to range from approximately 18 to 26.5 inches, which is the most substantial out of all the masks we recently tested.  I've had this mask for a couple of years. Um, actually maybe not a couple, maybe one and a half probably. And it's very easily washed. I just throw it in the washer with my clothes when it needs a wash and it comes out just fine

 So this mask is actually raked about. They use it in spas. They use it in like fancy airplanes and all that kind of stuff. Like for people who travel, this is one of those like fancy high end masks

 Well, this one does it. I do have to take it all the way, which is fine, but it absolutely does fit my head. So that's the first thing that's huge. The second thing is, is it is a one strap

 They do have a two strap option. You can buy, I just wanted the one strap because some of the other masks that I had previously bought were two strap masks and they really just weren't comfortable. I found that they moved a lot, that they shifted, and I just wanted something that was one strap and was tight and we were good to go. So I actually do like the one strap

Alaska Bear Sleep Mask Review: Thrifty Thursday - Best Sleeping Mask

Been using the Alaska Bear sleepmask for quite some time now. Very comfortable and blocks light well.

Any suggestions on a good sleep eye mask to keep the light out? I’ve got a problem where I can only sleep in absolute darkness, so I’ve started wearing a mask. 

My old one is working fine, but after a few times in the washing machine, it’s started to lift up at the bottom a little, letting a bit of light in at my nose. This wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t work nights, and as a result I go to bed at like 9:00 am. 

Long story short: any suggestion on high quality eye masks that are both comfortable and keep the light out? I’ve seen ads for something called the mantasleep that looks pretty cool, but I figure I’d ask here first.

 A SLIGHT improvement of the strap, and it's 5 stars for sure, but get it if you think any of this might sound worth a try. A minimal investment for an extremely important "need" (a word I do not use often)! Be well.

 I keep the room at the exact same temperature every night no matter what time of year (which is expensive in Florida!!! ...but, I highly recommend) and I sleep with a ceiling fan on

 The problem is, it attaches at a single point down the center of the mask. In other words, the strap attaches at the center/midway point of each "circle" of material over each eye. So, the more firmly you tighten it, the more it forms a "belt" of discomfort specifically accross the eyes, while the top and the bottom of the mask tend to pooch outward. Again in other words, as the center of the mask dips into the eyes/eye sockets, the upper and lower edges fold up and out minorly, like a taco so to speak

 When I face away from the fan, my face gets a bit hot as the material heats well into the night, when I turn over the fan seems to mitigate.  SUMMARY: I highly recommend a "blacked out" room/sleep experience, it WILL change your life if you are not already a deep sleeper/experiencing this; and, therefore, I highly recommend THIS sleep mask, as it does the job VERY well. A SLIGHT improvement of the strap, and it's 5 stars for sure, but get it if you think any of this might sound worth a try. Alaska Bear is great. I tried Manta, but it was very uncomfortable for me because of the thickness. Alaska Bear is thin and simple. Easy to hand wash

I've used some good ones like Bucky40Blinks and they're comfy but I'm a very aggressive sleeper and usually destroy them in less than 9 months. 

Any durable sleep masks? Getting to the point where I'm gonna have to see if Duluth, Carhartt, or Wrangler make them....

Ordered 2 different ones. Chose this one to use and will order another one. Reason? The adjustment is on the right and I sleep on my left side. The other model had the adjustment on the left, which awakened me countless times, with me in pain

 Not good. Soooo, I love this one because of its right side adjustment AND because the mask itself is larger than the one I had previously been using. This is really important to me, as though I'm a female, I was cursed with my Dad's side of the family with a large female head. Curses! So, really needed this larger mask

[the Slip silk mask]([URL REMOVED] It’s beautiful in person and looks so high end. It really elevates a look. I have the black and cool toned pink. They have a metal piece around the nose so I get a good seal and there is cotton inside the silk, but the silk is double layered so it’s outside and against my face

Having one or two masks that were preferred over the others didn't hit me as being all that strange, but realizing that I had favorites was definitely a trip and indicative of just how long this has been our world. 

My basic black canvas Keen mask that's utilitarian and easily adjustable ranks at the top, followed by a cranberry poplin with dusty pink dot motif mask from Target that somehow goes with everything I own and fits just right.
I have a grey Universal Standard one that's nice, but requires a lot of fiddling to fit right, but then it's pretty solid.

After that, well... all the rest that are various shades of blue or orange plaid and floral that my partner and I share from the mask-it basket by our front door. 

So what about you? Have you gone the way of accessorizing your masks? Are your choices purely utility?

Amazing Customer Service!

Comfortable on the front, but the adjuster snags my hair.

I love the fabric, it's perfect for summertime -- fresh and very breathable. My main complaint is that it doesn't quite fit very snuggly on your face, so the light will stream in from below the eyes. Not enough to be a deal-breaker, but still a shame.
