 Now below that you'll see some LAN Ethernet statistics, if that's of any concern to you, you could use that. Now for me I'm only using port 1 because I'm using that as a pass through and I'm not using any other ports to my LAN network. You could clear statistics from here if you want to pick up new ones but for me it doesn't matter so I leave it as is. So the next tab we're going to go under is called Configure

 So let's say if you want to allow certain MAC addresses on 2.4 gigahertz. So what you would do is click allow on your home SSID on 2.4 gigahertz or even 5 gigahertz and then you could select MAC addresses and add them letting it know what network to allow those MAC addresses from but that would also mean that there's nothing else that would be able to enter your home traffic aside from these MAC addresses

 You would configure IP allocation so that way when you do reboot a device or the device goes offline or it gets booted or it refreshes or whatever happens to the device once it comes back up it picks up the same IP addresses. So that's what you're allocating here is to make sure once the device goes down comes back up it picks up the same IP address rather than dynamically being assigned by the DHCP a new IP address.  but if AT&T is going to charge you the same rate even if you own this equipment, then why would you buy your own? Just rent it and you're covered for future headaches...

 So, buyer-beware. This item can definitely be used as an AT&T gateway, or independently as a wireless router for your network..

I recently moved to an area that has ATT gigabit so I opted for it. I purchased a TP-Link WiFi 6 AX3000 PCIe WiFi Card to install in my computer and it seems to work fine. I just can't seem to get more than 300-400Mpbs when I do testing throughout the day. I have the new BGW320 modem/router from ATT. I have tried three different AX routers but when I connect it to my setup, my download speed is slower than when I connect to the BGW320 directly. 

The ATT setup is connected in the living room and my computer is in my bedroom. Live in an apartment so not a huge distance from my computer and router. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible to get 1GB download speeds with Wifi 6?

 I’m bummed by the situation and returned it. I also purchased my own Nokia 1511 ago and the 1310 to determine which one worked in my area. (The 1511 Did) If they allow customers to purchase their own equip, I will def repurchase, as of now, I’m stuck with AT&T under a 1 year contract and after that I may try again, if they tell me the same thing, then off to another provider I’ll go.

Replacing AT&Ts BGW 210 for the BGW 320 with WiFi 6 and 5 GbE

. This is a Excellent Upgrade to Wi-Fi 6 at 1G speeds and pretty much doubles the number of connective devises. Well worth it "with fiber adapter"

I have been battling AT&T for awhile to get this router without luck. I love the fiber optic network and speed, but don’t like the device bandwidth reduction with the BGW210. I decided to purchase this independently and was amazed how simple it was to install. If you have the older ONT setup like me, I simply placed the red ONT plug into its port on the back and my home internet and network were back up in about 5 minutes

 This was great saving me time from entering in the Wi-Fi password to over 20 devices.

So far, I’m glad I purchased this new gateway.

 Connected the modem via the ONT port and it established itself in about 5 minutes. Super easy installation for my situation. The wifi seems very strong and it plays well with my Netgear router. The UI is simple to navigate and much faster than my old Pace Modem
