Recommendations on a mini (portable) projector?

.), just to get bluetooth access via the provided usb stick..I have to imagine that reduces the splash-proof capabilities when all those ports are exposed

  -Remote control isn't powerful.. from about 10 feet away, you can barely use it. The manual says the range is about 8 feet, which is pretty close

 Couldn't get my phone to mirror/stream a video to the device either. They should just use something like Roku built-in as their software/interface, or you could just connect a Roku Stick to it and that should do the trick.  -Could be a little brighter, because right now, you would only want to use it when it's dark/couldn't really watch anything during daytime.  -Speaker isn't all that powerful

 We've also got an audio out and then a reset button in there and then on the bottom is going to be the stand. So we have a quarter 20 mount down here if you want to mount this to something. And then we've also got a tilting stand here so you can tilt this thing up and down. So now that you've seen the projector and what comes in the box, let's start testing this guy out

 This is just so great to have it be wireless. Take this wherever I need to go. I don't need to worry about cables. I can also add additional speakers on it wirelessly

 so I can connect my phone to this projector and use it as a portable speaker too. Now it is Ipx 2 rated, which means that it's splash proof. You can't really get it too wet drop proof up to a foot and a half. We've got auto keystoning, meaning it's going to adjust itself, which is fantastic

I’m considering a GS2 and want to have a little movie night for my next “glamping” trip. 720p should be enough, and projector size needs to be easy to carry and not heavy so it’ll fit in my van. Also, I don’t want to break the bank. 

One thing I’m thinking is the sound as I would like to have a movie night with good audio. Some of my friends told me that I should get a good Bluetooth speaker for portable projectors to compensate for the weak sound. Really don’t want sound to mess up the movie night, so any advice for a good Bluetooth speaker? I am thinking getting a speaker for around 200 bucks. Anyone has a GS2? Many thanks.

Good one but battery is an issue

 This is definitely plastic, but the build quality is really solid. The pots are hidden here behind this flap that's for the Usb wireless dongle, 3.5 millimeter audio jack, full size Hdmi, Usb C port with support for display port, and Usb type A with power delivery of 1.5 amps

 But I hope it's not rubber because here in Singapore, humidity is very high. If this is rubber, it's going to be affected by humidity and becomes sticky in the long run. The battery used in this remote is the Cr2032 and it comes pre-installed This battery can be found using some clocks and calculators, so it's not difficult to find if you need replacement batteries. When you use this projector during daytime in a room like this but with curtains, but with some light streaming through, and using this projector at night when the room is totally dark, let me show you what's in the box. This projector is quite small, relatively speaking compared to other projectors

 movie? Um, it may not. I mean, I don't have Netflix so I cannot see whether or not it will work with Netflix. But if you connect your phone or tablet with the Usb cable to the port here, you can definitely play itunes, movie, and Netflix or whatever that you're playing on your computer or your mobile devices. I've had a Pixel 3XL for 3 years now.  The only time it was ever damage is when it slipped out of my shorts pocket and fell onto concrete.

Phones are slippery AF these days. My old LG G8X would literally slide off any surface if there was the slightest angle to it.

I took my 6 Pro out of the box and immediately put it in a case and applied a screen protector.

I do have some dbrand skins on order, if they make it less slippery I may try going without a case.

It still low-key bugs me they didn't use the same type of glass that the Pixel 4 had. Not only does it look more sleek, it's also way less slippery. I wonder what the overall reason was for going with the glossy back glass as that doesn't just instantly scream "premium"

That really sucks mate. I had a similar thing happen but thankfully nowhere near as bad. Walked directly out the phone shop at the shopping centre yesterday afternoon with my shiny new 6 pro in my pocket and went to the supermarket next door for some shopping. Was scanning the store loyalty card via Google pay and the damn phone shot out my hand like greased ligtening and clattered to the floor. It's now sporting a funky silver scrape on the bottom right where the edge meets the glass. Why the fuck do they make these things so slippery? I'm sure they could coat them in something that gives some grip but still looks good. I'm now being uber careful until my case and screen protectors arrive this week!

So I sat down at brunch with my wife and as I was happily eating my phone slid out of my pocket on its own, fell a few feet, and landed face down. I picked it up to discover the corner cracked and it sent cracks across the screen.

So yeah, don't be me. Wait until your case comes in before using your phone.

Now that we're done laughing at me, will ubreakifix be able to replace the screen already or should I wait a few weeks? I've never had to use them before because I really never drop my phones. Sigh.
