Any suggestions on a good and cheap projector to watch movies on?

I'm not smart enough. I've spent thirty minutes haven't figured it out yet.

 When it comes to TVs in my house, I have a sort of hierarchy, if you will, as far as what rooms get the best TVs and what rooms get next in line. Needless to say, the TV in my kid's playroom doesn't get a whole lot of love with its 40-inch 1080p screen and its thick, bezel 2012 design. As a result, not a lot of TV shows or movies get watched in that room, and I'd like to change that if I can. And that's where this guy comes in

Best projector for 50/50 gaming &amp; movies?

Was not as good as I was expecting based on the reviews. I doubt the claims of 8,500 lumens as well. I use projectors for props and other window/wall decoration during the holidays. It is brighter than some of the cheap ones I have, but not as bright as one rated below 8,000 lumens

Mixed Feelings

 Depending on the test, the brightness of the Amotan C1 projector is 8500 lumens. A room with the lights on and the curtains open is not recommended for this level of brightness. Once the lights are turned off, the cinema experience begins. The result will be a very the result was amazing for both high-resolution images and mirroring screen pictures

Emotn C1 WiFi Bluetooth Projector Review

My TV recently stoped working and I was thinking of switching to a projector. Since I mainly use the TV as a giant monitor. 

I do have a sound system that I like to hook up with the system, and possibly able to link up gaming consoles and such.

I will likely be projecting to a white wall in the room, and there is probably lights coming through the curtains.   


is there a budget projector that can satisfy this? How much would it be? Or would it be better to just get a giant monitor?
