 When you think of luxurious headphones or audio systems, I'm sure the first brand will come to your mind is Bose and today's review is about one of these luxury products, it's the Bose SoundLink Revolve Plus 2 Inside of the box you'll find the speaker, a USB cable and a really great looking adapter starting with the design, it's made from aluminum on the sides and silicon top and bottom with a carrying handle that makes the speaker looks like a lantern which I find very handy and useful on the top there is 6 buttons, the power button followed by a button to enable the aux connection volume up and down and if you hold both buttons together you will mute the mic during a call function button to receive or make a call and it will active Google Assistant or Siri when you hold it depending on the connecting phone, last but not least is the Bluetooth enable button you can hold it to enter the pairing mode, speaking of Bluetooth, something worth mentioning is that Bose is the only company that keeps the responsive voice commands to update you about the Bluetooth status when the device is connected, disconnected etc, something like this On the other hand, the Revolve comes with the old Bluetooth 4.1 with a range of 9 meters and you can connect up to 2 devices at the same time and to make things even worse it has micro USB port not USB-C, keeping in mind that this speaker was released last year or you can buy a separate charging cradle for $40 if you want, however, Bose managed to keep the 3.5mm jack while all other competitors like GBL and Sony removed it you can also connect the Bluetooth VNFC hidden behind the Bose logo on the top this speaker has IPX55 rating so it can handle the water and the dust to a certain limit when it comes to battery life, this speaker can run 10 hours on 50% volume which comes behind the GBL Charge 5 with 15 hours and 20 hours for LG PL7 on the same conditions and need 4 hours to charge from 0 to 100% thanks to super slow micro USB port moving to the most important part, the sound quality what makes the Revolve Plus 2 unique is the 360 surround sound and that will make it suitable for variety of music genre I will leave you now with the sound test please consider wearing a good pair of headphones for most accurate results Thank you for watching! Bose SoundLink Revolve + II Review (360 SURROUND Sound!!)

Does not hold a charge...

 There is virtually no functionality in the app for this device. If you have several of these, you can set it up so that it will pair to multiple of this speaker at a time, so you can set up a pretty nice surround sound effect if you're outside and have a wide range of these things, they will connect one via Bluetooth to your phone or whatever you're using to play music on, and it will then replicate it to the other ones and sync up the sound, so that is nice. But if you're not buying multiple of these, there's really no use for this app. It's also worth noting this is the second generation, and at least in the app when I was looking at it, there's no option of also connecting it to one of the first generation speakers, so not only would you need multiple of this second generation, if you have some of the first generation, it's not going to pair to those at the same time

 I've been using this periodically over the last two weeks and have not had to recharge it yet. It seems to have a very nice battery life on there. Overall, it is quite nice. Do I have a particular need for it right now? I'm not sure

 All right, after a couple of weeks of use, what do we actually think about this Bose Revolve Plus 2 speaker? Well, I must say, battery life, really nice, physically the form function, it feels very premium, very nice feeling. I'm inclined to say that this is probably best used for like outdoor parties or something where you have a large space. You can't mount this onto a tripod with the included little screw hole there in the bottom. You can't actually attach it to something so that it's, you know, not just sitting on a table or whatever, and you can take advantage of the full surround sounds effect of the music

 Overall, it is quite nice. Do I have a particular need for it right now? I'm not sure. Is it Bose's best work ever? Probably not quite. It does, as I said, have a little bit of the scooped-out midtones, but otherwise, it is very nice

Bose Soundlink Revolve+ II Product Impressions and Review

Great Speaker

 They're designed to be installed anywhere, like near a wall, in the middle of a room, in a corner, wherever, and still sound good. And they do. They each have a single transducer and dual passive radiators built in for bass. Like I mentioned earlier, the Plus model has deeper bass, but both offer full mids as well

 The standard Revolve 2 is still good relative to the overall size, but if you're looking for something with fuller sound, the Plus is the better one to invest in. Okay, now let's talk about the features that apply to both speakers. For inputs, you get a three and a half millimeter auxiliary port, a micro USB port, and Bluetooth with NFC, which lets you tap a compatible device on the speaker for an easy connection. On the top are buttons for power, Bluetooth, volume up and down, multi-function, which I'll touch back on in a moment, and input selection

 Highs are very good too, maybe not quite as sharp as a speaker with a separate tweeter, but they do sound good enough to justify their price points. So if you're looking into getting a portable speaker that works well on your desk, outside by the pool, or even on a nightstand, the Revolve 2 and Revolve Plus 2 would be worth a listen. Very impressive sound and battery life

 Everything comes through crystal clear crisp sound So if you don't want any low-end you're gonna really like this you're gonna really like this it just It's crystal clear to the point that it sounds cheap if you know I'm saying by that I'm just so disappointed in this Bluetooth speaker. If you can pick it up used for maybe 130 It might be worth it because of the build quality and if you're into Bose things, you might you know I can say brand lowly people always with Apple They have to have it same with Samsung

 I can't help it There's no help in this thing. I have Bluetooth speakers that are Four times cheaper than this. I have $50 Bluetooth speakers sat here that sound better than this $200 Bose SoundLink revolve 2 and That just isn't good enough. I'm afraid I I know people are gonna jump on me for it because brand loyalty and things like that But I'm here to tell you the truth and $200 is a lot of money

 I think that is just terrible Whoever designed that and told your guys this was the way to go You need to fire them and get somebody else in who understands USB Because this ain't it chiefs So now we've got that USB rent out of the way. The actual build quality on this thing super nice It's a metal on the outside and it's a soft touch rubber on the top and it has the same ring around the bottom You can mount this. There's a screw thing there so you can Fasten this down onto something also has auxiliary cable Also has auxiliary cable right there on top. You got your power button Bluetooth button source select volume up and down and Your multi-function button to play pause answer calls assistant things like that It also does an NFC as well so you can pair it via NFC if that's something you prefer to do But same connection regardless of whether you do Bluetooth You can just be quicker sometimes for you to press and tap done

Bose Soundlink Revolve II Review -  Save Your Money! The Fanboys Are Mad!!!!

I love my Bose Soundlink Revolution+ II! This little portable speaker produces phenomenal sound from anywhere! I love that by moving it around the room, I can totally alter the sound. By setting it near the wall (or in a corner- I prefer this way because it bounces even more), you feel like your surrounded by the music! Or you can place in the middle of the room and everyone enjoys the deep, rich sound! This speaker puts other portable speakers to shame! The sound is 100% on point with other Bose products, deep, rich and enjoyable!! The battery seems to last forever, I can enjoy music the whole time I'm cleaning my house or enjoying time outside with my family. Set up is so simple, all I had to do was pair the Bluetooth to my phone and boom- wonderful music playing! When you have a green light, it's at medium to full charge, yellow is charging or medium charge, and when it turns red it is time to plug in! This makes it easy to track, I hate when my old speaker would beep right before it died. Overall, I am so happy we have added this portable speaker to the entertainment at our house!!

 Pros Great 360 audio quality, durable and compact, good looks, multi-device freedom, whereas the cons, a bit expensive, no USB-C port, low water and dust resistance, and outdated Bluetooth 4.1 technology. To wrap it up, the verdict If you are on the look for a good-looking and durable speaker, then the Revolve Plus 2 is your friend. It exudes styles and at the same time sounds great in an omnidirectional way

 If you download the Bose app that is available both for iOS and Android, it gives you great adjustments such as managing the Bluetooth connections, adjusting the tonality, and more. You will also find the party mode there, a signature Bose feature that allows you to pair the speaker with the other members of Bose's smart family. If there's a Bose logo on it, it sure does sound good! Performance Do we even need to question the sound quality? I mean, great sound quality from a Bose speaker is almost taken as given. The same saying goes for the Revolve Plus thanks to its unorthodox downward-facing driver

 But yeah, sadly, all that will come with a cost, quite the high one actually for a small device. Still, I can't say that it doesn't live up to the price even though it has some small compromises such as not having a USB-C port and the dock coming separately.
