Breville Barista Pro

Same thing as before. No response within 24 hours. After 3 days passed, I called again.

Since this subreddit has a lot of negative sentiment towards breville machines, i’d say the breville barista pro/touch is great for compromising with the SO of investing in espresso and being a semi automatic that she won’t need to fiddle with too much. Plus, the instant heating of water is so convenient, I don’t have to wait or temperature surf.

I understand the concept of buy once cry once, just ensure you love espresso enough and have the budget so you won’t regret it. Also you need to have realistic expectations for what the machine can offer and or how it fulfills your wants and needs. My timeline was Nespresso -> Breville Barista Pro -> ECM Synchronika. Had to make sure this was something I was passionate about before the investment was made.

I had my heart set on the Lelit Anita TEM, on sale here in Australia for $1299. I was ready to buy but a last minute check pulled up the Breville Barista Pro for $835, which is a pretty decent discount on the usual price. I currently have an automatic to make 3-4 'strong' coffees a day for myself, mostly caps, but I also have a separate frother for milk.
