Brooklyn Aurora Mattress Review (AFTER 3 Weeks) Pros & Cons Compared

 It keeps me cool all night long. My problem is the firmness. I selected the medium firm mattress and I think it’s more on the firm side. I’m 150 pounds

This is a bouncy mattress

 I chose medium firmness, and while it doesn't stand out as special to me, it provides decent support and comfort. What really stands out for me is how cool it is when I slip into bed and it definitely helps me to sleep cooler overnight. Since this was my main reason for purchasing the bed, I am pleased.  My only real complaint is that I've yet to find a set of King size sheets that fit it well

 So far I've tried Peachskin, Brooklinen, Brooklyn Bedding, Target's Opalhouse Cotton Percale (this one is surprisingly the best) and Threshold Performance Sheet Set. I also tried out a few different sets of fasteners, and I found the Original Bed Band to be the best. But I would definitely like to know what has worked for any of you who are in the same situation as me!

 It's most likely because most fitted sheets are made to fit mattresses from 15" to 18" deep and this bed is only 13" deep. But even the sheets that Brushed Microfiber Sheets that Brooklyn Bedding makes themselves don't feel any better (they fit beds 11" - 14"). When I called Brooklyn Bedding's customer service, they were of no help, telling me that they had not heard of this issue before. It is clear from the Amazon review page alone that I am not the only person experiencing this - and I'm really surprised that even more people aren't talking about this problem!  If anyone can recommend a sheet set that really fits this bed well and stays in place, please let me know in the comments

Cool and Comfortable, But Having Trouble With Slipping Sheets

\- Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Firm - went for this after the Sedona was too soft. This one is too firm and I had to put a memory foam topper on it just to get by. That felt pretty good initially but my back has started bothering me recently, plus I have lost the cooling of the mattress by adding a topper. I am a combo sleeper who does end up waking up on my back most of the time, 136 lbs

  One area that needs no improvement is the gel cooling technology. It is very effective in keeping you comfortable on the very warm or very cool nights that we have in our region.  Overall, the Brooklyn Hybrid Mattress is a winner. For the same price as other premium conventional beds one can enjoy this very comfortable high-tech bed and enjoy a good night sleep

The Brooklyn Hybrid Mattress is an interesting contraption considering that most of us don’t dwell upon our bedding very frequently…unless it’s time for a change. And if it is time for a change, I would certainly recommend you consider this Hybrid Mattress.  Arriving in a reasonably compact box, it was a big surprise to see how easy it was to extract and set-up. The Hybrid Mattress was surprisingly supportive as we put it together

  So, after a month or so, what do I think? I think that this Brooklyn Hybrid Mattress is great! It is very comfortable. It seems to be stable to the point that when one person leaves the bed, the other person is not disturbed. My partner thinks our medium firmness is perfect. I think it’s ok/acceptable but would prefer a bit more stiffness to be perfectly comfortable

Pretty Decent Bed in a Box

A few years ago I bought a Brooklyn aurora and it has gotten way too hot for me. The medium, while comfy has started to give in more and the foam it wraps me in my sleep, causing me to overheat. The cooling properties also seem to have worn off.
