 As I said earlier I do want my 24p and I don't know why Canon's taking them away from us but if you're a more serious video shooter honestly this probably isn't the camera for you but if you're a little more casual the usability is the best thing that this has it as an EVF option if you want to shoot in direct sunlight tilt screen is very bright and easy to see otherwise and you've got that wonderful touch interface with Canon's dual pixel autofocus just tap the subject you want and it'll do a really wonderful job tracking it. Hey everyone sorry about the weird change here but unfortunately the rest of the take I record back at the bar we were getting quite a bit of interference in our wireless system turns with Canon's in Amsterdam the M6 does not offer a headphone jack so we didn't know about that until we got back and started editing the footage so here we are so I can talk about a few other things that annoyed me with the M6. Now I do like that we get 120 frame recording in 1080 with this camera and the quality is okay however as soon as you start recording you lose your dual pixel autofocus and a lot of the time with slo-mo I start recording and then I find the focus after the fact unfortunately if you try using that technique you'll just wind up looking at a bunch of out of focus video like what we've got right here but the major drawback to this is the 4k recording looking at the footage out of this camera it is certainly sharper when you're recording 4k than in its 1080 mode however it doesn't hold a candle to the super sampled video that we're seeing out of things like the Fuji X-T30 or the Sony a6400 so if you are a professional looking for very high quality video this is going to be a letdown but if you're a more casual shooter looking for really reliable autofocus nice colors and a mic jack it's honestly not a bad choice. Alright so I've used this camera on two separate shoots and this is how I feel about it first off I think Canon is on point in the ergonomics game it is just complicated enough and complex enough and customizable enough to please more advanced photographers but still very easy intuitive to use I like the grip I like the dials Canon does this so well

 Now to be honest in raw burst mode it gets a little bit better just because there is a crop there so that reduces some of that rolling shutter so it is more usable in that mode I still wouldn't do any fast whips with it and again it's hard to track this camera in the raw burst mode anyways because you're always seeing a delay in the last shot. In video though it is a much better story and Jordan's now going to come up next to talk about video capabilities on this camera. M6 Mark II Recommendations?

Good camera with one major drawback

 The M6 Mark II is almost perfect with a few small flaws. These might be deal breakers that might make you want to get a DSLR instead or maybe you won't care. Let's find out. There's four main things that we have to look at here

 But with the lens it's just about a thousand dollars. That's probably not what most people consider cheap but considering what else is out there this is a pretty good deal. Now one thing that you have to keep in mind, Canon realizes this so these prices will change all the time. After these videos come out most likely the price will go down so if you want to make sure you get the most up-to-date pricing make sure to stay up to date with the links in the description to make sure you get the best pricing possible

 But the second kind and this is probably the kind of person that's going to buy this camera that is somebody that really wants to take their photos and videos to the next level. This is going to give you a 32 megapixel sensor and even though it's not going to shoot faster in some ways than a Sony camera and it does cost a bit more I think that 32 megapixel sensor is going to do a lot for you. It's going to give you more resolution in your photos and it's also going to give you a sharper image in your 4k and your HD simply because you have a high resolution sensor you have more data points in your video. With that being said I think the M6 Mark II is an amazing camera for vloggers and video makers specifically

 Let's find out. There's four main things that we have to look at here. Sensor, shooting speed, video frame rate, and design. And design is where I think this camera really struggles

 Now the screen that I would have liked to see is that on the Sony ZV-E10 which actually comes out to the side but this camera does not have an optical viewfinder either so perhaps there's a design limitation somewhere where you can't have an optical viewfinder and a screen that flips out to the side in a camera because even Sony cameras that do have an optical viewfinder like the Sony a6400 or the a6600 still have flip-up screens that come up to the top. I think this really comes down to a personal opinion let me know in the comments down below do you like this design or would you prefer a built-in viewfinder? And the last thing that I think Canon really dropped the ball on is that the battery life in this camera is really not that great. I really hoped that it would be good. I did several tests with this camera and unfortunately in 4k mode especially this battery is maybe an hour hour and a half at the most

 And yeah, I'm just happy to be back on the channel, back to making content, back to be finally, you know, on a regular groove like I've been before and sorry for, you know, being gone for at least I think a month or so, but I'm back and regular videos coming back now that I'm in my new spot. Now, a lot of you might be entry level photographers looking for a great new camera. I'm gonna share what camera I think is the best entry level camera for a new photographer. Something that has a lot of bells and whistles that you're gonna find on, you know, the more expensive cameras, but it's gonna be compact in size

 And yeah, this is the vlogging setup and it works really well. This lens is great, gives me a good wide angle lens, 24 millimeter. And then I do have a ND filter on here because this is a 1.4 lens as well

 For me, I like to stay as compact as possible because this is my street photography camera. I do all of my street photography work on this because it's amazing. A small camera that takes great pictures. I can crop in if I have to

 I'm going to be talking about some of the lenses you can use with it. I'm going to be talking about some of the different setups you can use for it. And at the end of the video, I think you're going to have a pretty good understanding of why the M6 Mark II is probably the most underrated camera in Canon's collection and also why you probably need it in your collection if you are a new photographer looking for something that's not going to break the bank and going to be compact in size and still get you great images. So what are some of the specs for this Canon M6 Mark II? Okay, well, first of all, let me just knock this out the way

Worth the Hype?! Canon's Most Underrated Camera, The M6 Mark II!!

Not very good for inddor photography if U want to shoot at iso 100 plus a stand up flash.

 The M6 II uses Canon's Dual Pixel AF, which is slower than what Sony has, but more accurate. With tracking enabled, you just need to select a subject and it will stay locked on. You can also select face and eye detection, provided your subject is human. Overall, it works well, but occasionally misses focus when the processor can't keep up

 With full sensor 4K, a flip up screen, and dual pixel autofocus, the M6 II should make a good vlogging and general purpose video camera. It can do those things, but I wouldn't recommend it for a few reasons. It simply doesn't deliver sharp and down sampled video like its rivals. It also lacks a 24p video option, though Canon has promised to address that in a future firmware update

 This has been an ongoing issue for M mount camera owners, but luckily Sigma will soon release 3 primes that should be better. You can also use Canon DSLR lenses via an EF adapter, but then you're throwing away the advantages of the M6 II's compact size. With full sensor 4K, a flip up screen, and dual pixel autofocus, the M6 II should make a good vlogging and general purpose video camera. It can do those things, but I wouldn't recommend it for a few reasons

 It simply doesn't deliver sharp and down sampled video like its rivals. It also lacks a 24p video option, though Canon has promised to address that in a future firmware update. Another issue is the lack of a headphone jack, so you can't monitor audio while shooting. I have mixed feelings about this camera
