I just got this Canon M6 for $300 as a secondary camera, good choice?

Our verdict on the M6 is pretty much the same as the M5&mdash;they've got the same tech inside, after all. Both are solid performers, but they lag behind the best in the category. The M6 is less expensive, and more compact&mdash;the lack of an EVF keeps the size and cost down. If you're invested in the Canon system, it's a strong option, as you can adapt SLR lenses with full functionality, and use the same flashes

Canon's current generation of mirrorless cameras deliver serious improvements compared with earlier efforts, but they still have some room for improvement. The EOS M6 is solidly built and compact, with appropriately sized lenses to go along with it. Image quality is strong, and it has no problem firing off shots at a quick rate. In good light, the autofocus system is solid, but it struggles a bit when working in dim light

Canon includes a dedicated battery charger with the M6. It mounts directly into the wall, with a plug that folds into the charger body when not in use. CIPA rates the M6 for about 290 shots per charge, so an extra battery isn't a bad idea.

 Also, there's the lack of embody image. Stabilisation Canon really need to wake up and smell the coffee there, although, if you're shooting video, I found the electronic image stabilization surprisingly good, it doesn't seem to impact your final video quality much, although it does crop your image a bit and there are other miniscule things As well, the battery life isn't particularly impressive and the ergonomics are just ok, the buttons feel a bit squidgy on it.  That'S actually sharp enough. That means this camera could be a dream. Come true for landscape photographers who value portability and you'll be pleasantly surprised, just how sharp canons kit lens actually is in the middle of your images anyway, and as for the cameras aps-c noise. Well, I actually really like the quality of its grain

 This is perfect for portrait, photography, keeping your subjects eye and focus no matter how much you move the camera or walk forwards or backwards. This is just about the coolest autofocus feature, I've ever seen in a camera, and I can't get enough of it next speed. This camera works quickly and is really fast as you're shooting and reviewing your images, and it can even shoot at up to 14 frames per second, which again is out of this world.  They feel tough and metallic, whereas the top and bottom plates of this Canon camera feel a bit plasticky and infirm, but at least the cameras, nice and light. Secondly, well, the good news is that this camera can give you 4k video footage without any crop which is brilliant. The bad news is that it really is very soft 4k footage here. It is compared to my Sony camera when shooting an aps-c mode really disappointing

Overview: Wife and I received an i7+ as an xmas gift last month from my parents. I have to say this thing has exceeded our wildest expectations, and in my opinion the i7+ is the pinnacle of smart home technology...

As a little background, we live in a 1,000 sq ft 2 bedroom apartment in Manhattan, NYC. After \~1 month of use, I can genuinely say this is a model is a true game changer and it's hard to imagine the apartment without it...

After 2 mapping runs, the app spit out an extremely close representation of our whole apartment. It only took us about \~30 seconds of tweaking it with room dividers and adding some zones for particularly messy areas, to perfect it. The vacuuming of our apartment is now 100% fully automated and unsupervised.... **we don't even have to empty the vacuum**, which was the worst part of the old dumb robobvacs. And after linking it to Alexa, we've now reached Jetson's-level smart home...we snack and eat some meals on the couch while watching TV fairly frequently, and the front of the couch always has crumbs and debris; wife and I usually end up playing rock paper scissor to see who has to fetch the dustbuster and clean up. Now, we just holler at Alexa to vacuum the front of the couch, the same way the Jetson's would just holler at Rosie to vacuum whatever room, and it does it perfectly and reliably each time...

Same goes for kitchen, after we finish cooking every meal there's always crud and debris lying all over the kitchen floor, and dustbustering is usually the final chore of the night after doing the dishes and cleaning up the counters. Now, we just holler at Alexa to vacuum it up for us while we move on with our evening...

I see comments from people so often in the general tone of "seriously, this is such a waste of money, how lazy can you be, just vacuum yourself". I think that might have been a fair accusation to levy at the old, dumb robo-vacs, but after having this in our house for a month, I can say with 100% sincerity that that argument is trash (pun intended). Washing machines wash clothes, dishwashers clean dishes, Roombas clean floors....how is that any different? Are people lazy cause they don't wash their own clothes by hands..?

Some people might argue that it's not really fully automated, you still have to clean out the brushes for hair and empty the Clean Bin every few months....but honestly if you think about it, how is that any different from cleaning the goo out of the detergent slot in the washing machine every now and then, or unloading the dishwasher and cleaning out the gunk filter in the dishwasher? They also argue it's pricey, but dishwashers and washing machines are easily in the same neighborhood, if not way more....

TL:DR: The robovac is smart enough and reliable enough now, to be considered a true appliance not just a gadget for people with too much money to spare....

Edit: It’s actually a Costco i8+ that my parents nabbed for us on a Black Friday deal, essentially they threw in a free Clean Base auto empty bin.

Good camera with one major drawback

 There'S a really beautiful neon sign, that is, the old commercial exchange sign and they kept that when they restored the hotel.. The last thing that we did the first day was shoot cocktails are Exchange and they have beautifully garnished cocktails which make my job easy, because it adds a little dimension., They're, very showy and beautiful

, I mean I love a good matcha latte and they definitely do a good one. Hold it out towards me more. We brought out the tile and the floors as details so that you're not getting the same picture with the same wood background for every image.

. The food world, especially in social media, is very saturated.. I'M proud of the content that I'm putting out there making sure that the images that I'm posting are up to a certain caliber and I think that has been successful for me

On Assignment with Kylie Mazon and the Canon EOS M6

Native lenses also worth keeping an eye out for are the 22mm f/2, 11-22mm IS zoom, and the 28mm f/3.5 macro — all are excellent performers.

The EF-M 32mm f/1.4 is an absolute gem of a lens for this system — it's worth having an M camera to use this lens alone — it's a beautiful optic.

Great sensor, frustratingly bad camera

 It is gon na be added cost for some of you, unless you already have this from an existing kit that you might have in the M series or if you very likely, are gon na get it as a package with the kit lens the 15 to 45. I just don't think that's the best choice of lens to fit this particular body. I'Ve looked everywhere for George's chameleon in there. I can't see him, but if you guys can with the 32 plus megapixels on the sensor, let us know we'll be happy to claim the prize for you

 So wan na take just a little bit of time here and talk about actually probably the most important change in upgrade that we've seen in this line of cameras. Now, with the m6 Mark 2 and the u.s. 9 TD, we now have a brand new 32 Plus megapixel aps-c size sensor

 I definitely want to test things like low light performance. Today I want to test things like resolution sharpness today. So, let's get to it and have some fun play some shuffleboard drink some beer, [, Music, ], [, Music ]. I think it's really important to point out that the m6 mark 2 is officially actually replacing the m6 and the m5 as well

 Looking at the footage out of this camera, it is certainly sharper when you're recording 4k than in its 1080 mode. However, it doesn't hold a candle to the super sampled, video that we're seeing out of things like the Fuji XT 30 or the Sony a 64 hundred. So if you are a professional looking for very high quality video, this is gon na be a letdown, but if you're a more casual shooter looking for really reliable, autofocus nice colours and a mic jack, it's honestly not a bad choice. Alright, so I've used this camera on two separate shoots, and this is how I feel about it
